Very High Rescue For MDA Paramedics At Haifa Construction Site [VIDEO & PHOTOS]

When a Haifa area crane operator took ill at work, losing consciousness, MDA was summoned, and paramedics responded and began the high rescue. As seen in the photos, the paramedics who arrived on Thursday morning, were compelled to climb to the top of the crane, where the operator was.

The fire department responded to the construction site too, providing safety harnesses for the EMS personnel. They reached the crane operator’s cabin, and they treated a 32-year-old patient who was transported to Rambam Hospital in the city.

Paramedic Guy Caramel said: “When we arrived at the site, the workers at the site told us about a man who apparently lost consciousness in the crane operator’s box at a height of about 50 meters. Accompanied by firefighters, who secured me in harnesses to the operator’s box with the medical equipment, the crane operator was found feeling ill and conscious. I gave him initial medical treatment and immediately afterwards the firefighters rescued him from the height and evacuated him to Rambam Hospital.”
