Israel Police traffic enforcement units held an operation to apprehend drivers illegally driving in a public transportation lane, towards alleviating delays for buses relying on the lane.

The operation places an emphasis on Shazar Blvd. in Jerusalem since it became an exclusive public transportation lane. 98 summonses of NIS 500 were issued since the operation’s inception.

Police are planning to continue patrolling the bus lane on Shazar Blvd. towards apprehending motorists who impede the flow of buses.
