The people have spoken and despite the ‘liberal terrorism‘ that led to the cancelation of the evening in tribute to Rav Elimelech Firer and his Ezra LeMarpe organization, a charidy campaign was launched and when last checked by YWN-Israel on Thursday evening (ET), over NIS 2.1 million has been raised for the chessed organization.

The secularists who fly the flag of pluralism are willing to tolerate any toeiva and disgrace, as long as it does not in any way accommodate Yiddishkeit.

Rav Firer, who is known around the globe for assisting anyone and everyone who seeks his vast medical knowledge, asked that the evening event be limited to male singers to avoid kol isha.

Despite over four decades of public service, tireless efforts to assist his fellow man – having assisted more than ONE MILLION PATIENTS – Rav Firer’s request was simply too much for the liberals, who decried his request, accusing him of “excluding women”. Eventually, Rav Firer opted to avoid the machlokes and ordered the cancelation of the event.

This led to the launching of the charidy campaign, which B”H permitted Klal Yisrael to deliver a clear message of support for Ezra LeMarpe and Rav Firer.
