ISA (Israel Security Agency/Shin Bet) Director Nadav Argaman announced on Thursday that the intelligence agency has prevented may terrorist attacks.

During a visit to Airport City, he visited a drone exhibition, using the opportunity to explain how his agency has incorporated the use of high-tech in its ongoing efforts to maintain national security. Argaman explained “technology permits us to maintain our edge” in the war against terror.

“We try to be one of the best in the world, maintaining a synergies worldview within the organization, the Israeli security community and our counterparts around the world. This is what assists us in maintaining our relative advantage against very challenging rivals,” Argaman added.

He then continued, telling the public that the ISA prevented over 450 “significant attacks”, thereby permitting the citizens of Israel to maintain their daily routine without becoming aware of what takes place behind the scenes.

“The Israeli start-up technology is a part of who we are, and we invest in innovation and advanced technology,” he concluded.
