ban.jpg1:15PM IL: Visiting UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon stated he expresses “strong protest and outrage” over a report that the IAF shelled a UN headquarters in Gaza, a UNRWA facility serving as a shelter for hundreds of people.

According to UN spokesman Chris Guinness, three people were wounded in the attack which has yet to be confirmed by the IDF. The incident occurred shortly before Foreign Ministry Tzipi Livni spoke with the UN leader who continues to demand an immediate halt to the Gaza military operation.

According to foreign media reports, the Shifa Hospital was hit by the IDF as well and Gaza and foreign media reports indicate a portion of the hospital is on fire. There is no additional information regarding the PA reports at this time.

Israel has reported earlier the Hamas leadership is using the hospital for its command post, with the terrorist leaders residing in underground bunkers, using the hospital for cover.

In the meantime, the IDF continues to target terrorists and weapons storage and rocket launching facilities. Over 20 rockets have struck Israel during the morning hours. Chasdei Hashem, there were no serious injuries but many hysteria/shock victims and significant damage were reported.

In her statements to the media, Livni explained that she told UN and International Red Cross officials that Hamas has yet to provide information on the condition of Gilad Shalit, and she called on IRC official Jacob Kleinberger to make Shalit’s plight an international issue.

  1. No! Let them keep Shalit! Let them! Stop killing innocent Palestinians! Look at ttheir terrified faces! Don’t you have Rachmonus on them! Poor Palestinians! They’re only launching “small” rockets into Israel – nothing major! They’re using up their supply – soon they’ll have no more left! (They’ve fired nearly 7,000 in the past 3 years!) They’re trying to get rid of them so that they could build more houses! Their leaders even have to live in hospital basements and schools because they don’t have enough housing! They don’t even have enough streets to get around, so they have to have these tunnels! Don’t you see their plight! Shalit is helping them because he went to an I sraeli school and he’s a technician – he knows how to do things! That’s why he’s there! I’m sure he’s living in a 5 star hotel! Stop the bombings! Let them reorganize! Theiy’re peaceful people! Don’t you see how the whole world is so concerned about them? Oy those poor Palestinians!
DON’T I SOUND LEGIT? WHAT A STUPID ORGANIZATION THE U.N. IS! Turn Gaza into one big cemetary! Make it a moslem holy cemetary!

  2. Could there possibly be some connection to what was reported in Fox News [Wednesday, Jan. 14]? “The United Nations agency that administers a school in Gaza where dozens of civilians were killed by Israeli mortar fire last week has admitted to employing terrorists to work at its Palestinian schools in the past, has no system in place to keep members of Hamas or Islamic Jihad off its payroll, and provides textbooks to children that contain hate speech and other incendiary information.”

  3. Question #1
Ban said he has expressed “strong protest and outrage” to Israel over the shelling
Does he mean HAmas shelling of Israeli kindergartens?

    Question #2
and demanded an investigation into the incident.
Which one of the 1000 rocket attacks against Israel?
    Question #3
He said Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak has told him it was a “grave mistake.”
I hope he means a grave mistake for not bombing all UN=Hamas buildings and turning them into a GRAVE

  4. Hey Bankis Moon, what are you going to say when the IDF posts the video of attacks coming from your stinking building??? Do everyone a favor and get out of the way because you don’t do anything there anyway other than getting in the way!
