tzedaka box1.jpgTwo men in their twenties were arrested on Motzei Shabbos in the city of Tzefas on suspicion of stealing Pushkas in the Tzefas Bais Hakvaros.

Superintendent Avi Maor, commander of the Tzefas police station, told the Ynet news agency, that “a city resident who was in the cemetery spotted two local youngsters wandering between the graves, one of them allegedly holding an electric saw.

“At first he thought they were workers who arrived to arrange burial plots for a memorial service and to saw the marble. But as he followed them, he noticed that they were sawing the locks of the Pushkas and taking the money.”

The man approached the two men and started arguing with them. The two eventually left the place with the money. The man did not give up and filed a complaint to the Tzefas police station, providing an accurate description of the suspects.

The police arrested two young men who were involved in robberies in the past. It is currently unclear how much money was stolen.
