That time of year again. Gotta start early (is it ever early?), like they say – avoid the Ellul rush.

OK, I’ll tell you why. Rabbi Theodore & company existed and formed his vision and movement way before he was able to get any Orthodox Jew into his thing. Remember, Eretz Yisroel was to him a second choice. No, his movement was not looking for any Kedusha. And when he joined, Rav Kook did not DEFINE anything, he merely tried to steer it in the best direction he could, anything to save those errant souls..

First of all, lucky you, you have work!!

Secondly, how should I respond to you if you’re maybe not allowed to read it.

Third, now that you’re already reading, I thank you for your confidence in my rabbanic, halachick proficiency. In the sefer I wrote, (hilchos ??????? ?? ????? ??? ??? ?????) it’s brought down that (whops… I forgot)

Seriously, it’s all up to the “omed daas”, the assumption of the employer’s attitude, stance, feelings. Of course it’s always better to get express permission, to deal direct.

(There is a place of employment I know, where EVERY piece of on-line communication is censored, everything must be strictly business related, the whole day.)

    That is my humble opinion.

Sorry, I didn’t get to finish.

On the contrary, Yiddishkite (chareidim), goes back all the way to Moshe Rabbeinu, all the Neveim, Tanoim, Amoraim… all the Gedolei Torah until this present day. That’s who and what WE (chareidim) try to follow. Pirkei Avos, Seder Nezikin, Choshen Mishpat were written by fine ehrliche Chareidim. Along with the other parts of the entire Torah. So anyone acting to the contrary of any of theses laws or teachings, HE is the dissenter, HE is the one acting out of line. A true chareidi will have everyone’s praise and admiration, everyone will easily be able to discern a Godliness person of sterling character and middos. ???? ?? ??? ???? ?? ?? ?’ ???? ????.

I didn’t (couldn’t) read your whole post (too much English), I beg to differ on one of your points.

Zionism as defined, in its essence, means what and how it was presented by the bareheaded “fathers”. Exactly as they declared by their “declaration of independence”. ???? ??? ?????. And all their accessories, to numerous to mention. Anyone wearing a kappel, anyone Shomer Shabbos, andone holding mitzvhos, has already deviated from the ideals of Zionism. He’s trying to “explain”, trying to “compromise”, reform his version of Zionism.

“and when they look good , it works for them”.

NEVER. We have never been praised, and we don’t expect to be. All the way back to Moshe and Aharon. When people look to complain, to vilify, to besmirch, they’ll most always find.

I have never heard something like “wow, look at those chareidim…” No, we’re not going to be praised by those who are on our necks.

zd, a real, true Rav, one qualified and competent to deal with these issues would have felt around first, would have known what he’s dealing with, and wouldn’t have gone too far to the right. Either he’s not competent in that field, or possibly, maybe, could be, issues were not visible, hiding and not apparent even to a qualified Rav. Happens. Every one here (this earth) is human, every one can skip an essential bit that makes a difference. Especially if it was hidden. Again, I don’t know the details, just that to me it seems people aren’t inherently, intentionally bad.

One should not address the Ribono Shel Olam in such a manner (teasing). Someone once made that misstep and said ?? ?’ ????? ??. Did not bode him well.

But to address the question (it’s incomplete, due to the OP’s incomplete talent), it’s to urge, goad, prod, drive a person to become something, to make something of himself/herself. ???? ???, together, he fashioned the guf, neshamah, He says we also take part in creation and make ourselves “Man”. That’s how we’re supposed to view the present of talents HaShem in His kindness bestowed upon some people, to utilize them to become something.

    (my humble opinion)

The Holy Chafetz Chaim and his holy disciple Reb Elchonon had open Ruach Hakodesh. They knew fully what they were dealing with. The works of Reb Elchonon are like open, clear prophesy. To say they spoke without fully understanding the situation fully, or that things have changed is to belittle their great far reaching clear vision.

They knew what they were talking about. And no, the founding “fathers”, those “greats” did nothing to instill Yiddishkeit. FAR FROM IT. Any ounce of Yiddishkeit in the holy land is DESPITE their efforts.

    Mind you, read history.

    rd and others:

As others have wrote before a chosid shothe is one who sees a woman drowning and does not help her. A case of real pikuach nefesh, not as this case here where there was apparently no danger, she could get up by herself (maybe with a DROP more effort, it’s her fault, why would the young woman in question pack more than her weight?)

And no, we don’t rationalize with HaShem’s mitzvhos. He says not to touch, we don’t; not this way not that way. ?? ??? ??????, when we keep HaShem’s commandments to the tee, others will admire us, not mock us.

And besides we don’t give a hoot to what others care or think about us, while carrying out HaShem’s will. ?? ?? ???? ?????. Furthermore we should be too preoccupied to even notice.

One last gedank, thought still in the spirit of Tisha b’Av (it’s still before chatzos).

I read yesterday something beautiful on the passuk ???????? ??? ???? ??? ??? ???, which literally means “when I try to overcome my anguish, I cannot, my heart still aches”.

This perush (forgot who) explained it as – I can overcome this great anguish from the very fact that I still ache for it. Generally the dead are forgotten after twelve months, ????? ?? ?????, as Rabbi Miller ztz”l wrote – a great benefit to mankind, they should be able to pick themselves up and go on in life. The fact that we can still ache for the Bais HaMikdash shows that it’s still pretty much alive. That is our ????, the very fact that ????? ??????.
