I have this issue with my 9 yr old son. He does not like to go shul. If he does go then he will daven quickly and then sit and read a jewish book.
He has no interest to go to shul!
My husband says not to force the issue and the rabanim would agree with him. But he is getting closer to his bar mitzva-then what?

You really gave me a good laugh last night. But the truth is that your kids are pretty much normal just a little hyper. You really need to set the rules in the house that YOU are BOSS! Not the kids. Good luck with your crew and I hope things get easier for you.
my kids have a 1/2 day on thursday, no school for the girls on Friday and everyone is off on Monday.
We have been going through this situation with my 8 yr old son. He is not going to camp yet. Every morning he would wake up drenched. The laundry situation was getting out of hand as well as the constant smell in his room. It actually didnt seem to bother him too much. The pediatrician waited till he was 8 to try medication ( we tried not drinking too much b4 bedtime…). The first medication didnt work so we tried another one- it was like a miracle. He has been completely dry every single night for the last month. I’m not thrilled that he is on meds but I don’t think we have another choice at this point.
No way! Even if you paid me a million dollars. It’s not worth it… So many things can go wrong at a birth, chas v’shalom.
when people leave kitchen cabinet doors and dresser drawers OPEN! It just drives me crazy!
while you are on the topic of costco… Does anyone know how Costco prices compares to the prices at BJ’s? Also does Costco have coupons and accept manufacturer coupons like BJ’s?

I agree with lkwd2newyork’s 2nd point. I don’t understand why women have to have babies 1 year (or less) apart from each other. What’s the big rush?
Please clarify for me-if the sleeves arent made from lycra but from cotton is that “look” ok (the long sleeved t shirt under a short sleeve shirt)?
