charlie, just got back from vacation!! Also I’m pretty busy so like noitallmr I check up on this place once in a while!!
The cr is funny because as long as everyone is talking about virtual chanuka parties or recipies everyone is civil and can kibbitz around however once someone’s minhag or hashkofos or anything real is questioned, all the sudden you gota knock the question and the poster that posted the question. It’s kinda sad actually.

As far as I know it all depends on the “minhag hamakom.” Obviously, if someone would wear jeans in boro park they would be making a statement, even if unintentional. However, I’ve been in many out-of-town communities where the men wore jeans and they were all frum ehrlich ppl.

But I know what you mean, when I drive, I try driving down the same street as the city bus route so I can give ppl a ride, sometimes though the people got to understand that you might not have the time to take them directly where they need to go

The jobs don’t look so much at where you got your BA but I think it definately makes a difference where you got your masters from.
I’m still in middle of my BA through touro and another one of their sites and it’s awesome I don’t do any work besides for typing reports the night before by midterms and finals and I get to graduate with a pretty high GPA.
I’m sure any employer will higher me faster with touro BA and a 3.9 GPA over someone with a 3.1 GPA from a “more advanced college”

It’s like texting, ppl can text endlessly but when you actually call them you can’t stay on the phone with them for more than 2 minutes.
I could imagine that if all the posters met, some really talkative ones in the cr would be really quiet. like brooklyn…lol jk
