As a native Chicagoan i take umbrage at this thread title Mayor Emanuel was dead wrong on this chik fil a deal but he does not represent the frum community of Chicago which is a great community!! i ask the op to retract this pugnacious thread title (fyi the mayors father was my pediatrician and the father is just as ornery as the son not much of a bedside manner)

It sounds like you feel inferior to her she wasn’t better than you then and shes not better than you now, was she nice to you in high school? if yes than great if not than why bother to speak to her at all? the popular kid in my class was a jerk then and he probably still is, he treated me like garbage if i saw him today and he stopped to say hello i would either walk away or punch him in the mouth.
so this guy calls in and asks if we got his application that he faxed in yesterday i tell him i dont know, i tell him its mrs. blanks dept maybe she got it, he keeps hemming and hawing not happy that i cant gratify his request to go back in time and look in the fax machine yesterday. moron.
