@takahmamash, you’re definitely right but that doesn’t mean it’s not important. It just means its LESS important

@commonsaychel, please tell me why I can’t ask the question even if I DIDN’T finish Shas twice. Like what’s the shaychus?? There are a lot of Chashuva people out there that have not even finished Shas ONCE but are listening to music Lag Ba’omer night and I just want to know why! Is there a problem with that??

I want to ask everyone a question. Why does it matter whether or not YOU have never heard of the person?? If that was the case why does the news mention when a top operative in Hamas or whatever other terror organization is killled?? I’ll bet even LESS people have ever heard of THEIR names

Sorry to interrupt the memory one but I have another one. This one is for baseball fans. Game 7 of the world series and your favorite team is in it. Would you rather not have any means of following the game and yet at the same time know that your team will have an automatic win, or go to the game with your friends not necessarily knowing what the outcome will be?

Freddyfish, I am sorry that this thread turned into what it turned into. Seems like no one else is really interested in sympathizing with the victims (I for one DO sympathize). All anyone seems to care about is gun control. I think the talk about gun control should be saved for a different thread

golfer, I’m glad I made your day! For all you people who can access youtube I suggest you do a search on Matthew Jeffers! The guy is amazing! Here are some more quotes btw.

“I prefer using the word handicap over disability for what I have, being that the word handicap doesn’t have a dis in it”

    ~me ๐Ÿ™‚

And that being said “if people who have a handicap would take out the letters d-i-s from the word disability and just focus on the “ability” part, they would be able to accomplish things that they never thought possible”

I work as a teachers aide in an elementary school that has a day called grandparents day where the kids grandparents come in and see what a day in school for their grandchild is like. This year they hired people for valet parking for the grandparents. I was in the 3rd grade boys classroom and one of the boys told the teacher “the school hired car-waiters!” ๐Ÿ™‚

Ubiquitin, I don’t know. If what your saying is true you can ask the same question when the joker is at one end of a run A.K.A the case that bb8 brought down. If the run would still work even without the joker why can’t you just take it??

RebYidd23, why is the fact that Rubik’s cubes have red a good reason why Rubik’s cubes don’t have pink?? If that’s the case I could also say that the reason the Rubik’s cube doesn’t have purple is because it has blue!!

ubiquitin, the two cases are very different! When you go to a foreign country you are responsible to being up on the laws of that country and therefore if the law of the country is that you have to stop by a red light, you needed to know that! In this case it is impossible to read up on every singles persons medical condition!

ubiquitin, thanks for clarifying. I didn’t understand the explanation the 1st time being that i wasnt clear on the definition of a fontelle. However regarding your second analogy the cops weren’t doing it with the knowledge that he had asthma so why would they be MORE culpable to the murder?

ubiquitin, then maybe you could help me out with this one…why should the officer be charged with MURDER if garners medical issues played a DIRECT roll in his death??? If I had to charge the officer with ANYTHING it would be excessive force!

pardon me for interrupting this argument that I started ๐Ÿ™‚ but I had a question. Is there anyone who thinks that Garner still would’ve died even if he was not obese, didn’t have asthma, didn’t have diabetes, ect.?

So what was Pantaleo doing? He was applying a submission hold, which is not barred by the NYPD, and is designed to deprive the brain of oxygen by stopping blood flow through the arteries. So say the experts on submission holds.

Sam2, the following is from an excerpt from an article I found which may make you change your opinion.

2.The NYPD was responding to calls in the case of Eric Garner based on complaints from black business owners

    4. Garner had been arrested 31 times and eight of those had been for selling loosies. His rap sheet goes back decades and includes arrests for assault and grand larceny

    5. At the time of his death, Garner was out on bail after being charged with multiple offenses, including illegal sale of cigarettes, marijuana possession, false impersonation and driving without a license.

I agree. The problem is it’s addicting! Also I actually feel relieved whenever I get to talk to someone because in truth there is not way to express your true feelings through texting. Its hard to explain…
