Neturei Karta Meets with Hizbullah Commanders

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Members of the infamous Neturei Karta organization have met with senior officials in Hizbullah to spread their anti-Zionist message.

Last week members of the organization took part in the Global March to Jerusalem, telling anyone who would listen that they are adamant in their opposition to Zionism and the Jewish state. One of the participants in the march in Jordan was beaten up by a number of Arabs.

It appears that for Neturei Karta leaders this is insufficient and a delegation on Sunday, 9 Nissan 5772, met in Lebanon with terror commanders. Hizbullah released a message confirming a meeting with a delegation of the “anti-Zionists headed by Yisrael Dovid Weiss”, adding the delegation was taking part in Land Day events.

MK Prod. Aryeh Eldad is calling for criminal charges to be filed against participants in the entourage in Lebanon for violating Israel’s laws prohibiting travel to hostile nations and meetings with terrorists.

  1. WE MUST REMEMBER A JEW IS A JEW. Therefore under no circumstances should he be locked up or arrested. Their punishment will come from God, and it is not up to us to deal with it.

  2. I can’t understand what is going on here. I was under the impression that the Hizbullah is a terrorist organization that kills Jews. Now I see that all this is a made up story.

  3. ENGLISHMASMID: A jew stops being halachically considered jewish (until he does teshuva) when he intentionally aides the enemy!

If this story is true then gedolim should place all of neturei karta in herem and make a big deal about it for the nations of the world to know that they do not represent yidishkeit.

  4. These idiots were brought up that the state is traif, ok, but we are still Jews. When they go over to help our enemy, they have crossed the big red no-no line.

They are disgusting ignoramuses who can’t not learn Torah or they would certainly not act like this. They are a embarrassment to their parents.

  5. Englishmasmid
We may kill a moser. I dont know if NK has that Halacha though. Additionally there are other times when we may take matters into our own hands like when a man withholds a get. We have a responsibility to take care of ourselves and police ourselves. We don’t leave everything up to Hashem. Hashem only helps those who help themselves.

  6. #1 – A Jew shouldn’t be locked up if he is encouraging those who murder his fellow Jews?!
Being a Jew does not give someone a licence for lawlessness and criminal activity. If a Jew is doing something to harm other Jews, we must do everything in our power do stop these wicked people.

  7. These guys are NOT Jews.

They are masquerading as Jews in Chassidic garb.

They should be shown no respect. We should not buy in their stores, daven in thier minyans, marry with their children.

  8. Mayerfreund
Hezbollah is a very dangerous well organized terror organization run by Hassan Nesrallah.

The widening arena of Hezbollah’s attacks stemmed from Nasrallah’s perception that Jews anywhere are legitimate targets. In fact, Nasarallah has said:

If they (Jews) all gather in Israel, it will save us the trouble of going after them worldwide. (Daily Star, Oct. 23, 2002)

Draw your own conclusions if you are smart enough.

  9. Didn’t the NK learn their lesson the other day when they were beaten by arabs?? How long will it take for them to realize their idiotic mistakes?!

  10. modern orthodox

Please be aware that you contradict yourself
line 1. These guys are NOT Jews.
line 2.We should not ..daven in thier minyans
Can you please explain your stand about it.

  11. And what is wrong with that. Haven’t Yidden in all generations of our long Golus met with enemies. Didn’t Reb Michoel Ber Weissmandel and others meet with nazi leaders for Hatzoloh.
No harm can come out of these meetings. If this will somewhat decrease terror at least against Frum Jews in Eretz Yisroel and abroad, Kol Hakoved.
Going to Iran who is against the world, especially to a Holocaust Denial conference, is a different story.

  12. Hey Gemara Kup # 10

Don’t taitch up my words like it’s a piece of Gemara.

As a Jewish people we have been remiss in how to deal with these “jokers.”

Other societes would have given them a baseball bat across the knees. Since we are not willing to do that, the only way to deal with them is to hit them in the pocketbook–and not “intermarry” with them. That means a total Cherem- avoiding thier stores, houses of worship and not marry with their children.

Unfortunately we are not willing to do that, and by not doing that, we give tacit approval to their actions.

Chag Kosher V’smaech to all true Jews.

  13. That’s why we should be sending them money. Your logic might maybe explain the visiting to plead on our behalf, but it dosen’t explain the hugging and kissing and licking of toes and sending them money all the time. That of course will help make piece between us.(sarcastic)

  14. I would also follow the money stream here.

These people don’t work or learn.

Where do they get their funding?

How do they travel en masse to these destinations ?

The Arabs and Iranians have a nice little “pawn” here that they have bought at a minimal price.

  15. to “ENGLISH MASMID”..
if you would just be “masmid” a little bit more you would learn that these people have a din of rodeif. which means they are chayav misa al pi din Torah. This is not my opinion but rather of Gedolei Torah. you dont have to believe me, ask the Gedolim yourself.

  16. I think all of you guys out there who commented on my comment, clearly misunderstood the whole idea of the comment. Maybe he you take a little more time to read it, instead of jumping to conclusions. Think twice applies before writing as much as it does before speaking
