Ichud Hatzalah has used its nationwide system to reach out to its over 2,000 volunteers, calling on them to be mispallel for Maran HaGaon HaRav Chaim Ovadia Yosef Shlita.

In a passionate appeal, the organization’s director Rav Ze’ev Kashash appealed to volunteers under the headline חיים תמורת חיים, explaining that all life-saving efforts of all volunteers during the next 48 hours should be for a refuah shleima for the gadol hador.
