An armored civilian security vehicle was targeted in an attack between Chaggai East and Kevasim Junction in the Hebron district shortly before 16:00 on Sunday, 8 Elul. The vehicle was first believed to have been hit by gunfire but it was later determined it was hit by marbles that were fired with some kind of makeshift weapon. B’chasdei Hashem there were no fatalities or injuries.

The driver of the security vehicle heard what he believed to be bullets strike the bulletproof window on the left side rear seat. When he arrived at Kiryat Arba he got out and saw the damage but police experts determined it was not bullets but metallic marbles.
