Last night, the father of a Choson, who is the mashgiach of Yeshivas Even Yisrael in Yerushalayim, collapsed last night while dancing with Rav Dan Segel Shlita in the Beit Yisrael wedding hall – at his sons Chasunah.
Volunteers from Hatzolah Israel, including David Greenwald, head of Hatzolah, who arrived within minutes, found the man unconscious and immediately started resuscitation.
At this point all the dancing stopped and everybody started reciting Tehillim.
A crew from the intensive care unit from Magen David Adom also came and helped with the resuscitation by administering medicine and electric shocks. After working on him for more than 30 minutes, he was evacuated with a pulse and on a respirator to Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in serious condition.
Rav Dan Segel Shlita accompanied by a group of Yehiva students came to the Kosel at 1:00AM to daven for the father of the Choson.
In addition to the family members, also present at the hospital bed of the father of the Choson were David Greenwald, head of Hatzolah Israel and the Rosh Yeshivah, Rav Zvi Veissfish Shlita.

According to a source close to Rav Don Segal shlit”a, the Mashgiach was very ‘nirgash’ the entire day. He has yet to calm down from this traumatic incident, says the source.

the procudure is to continue dancing at the wedding (presumably, mute the noisy music while hatzalah do their work quickly) then the chosson should stay at the wedding, and the friends, guests, etc and the chosson continue dancing.
this is not the first time such things hsave happened, unfortunately
