READ IT: 73 Congress Members Demand That Harvard, Penn & MIT Fire Presidents

Seventy-three members of Congress, from both the Republican and Democratic parties, wrote a letter demanding that the presidents of the University of Pennsylvania, Harvard University, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology fire their presidents following their failure to unequivocally condemn calls for the genocide of the Jewish people last week.

Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) wrote: “I am proud to lead a bipartisan letter with Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) and 72 of our colleagues to the members of the Governing Boards of
Harvard, MIT, and Penn demanding that their presidents be removed after this week’s Education and Workforce Committee hearing.”

Following the hearing, Stefanik announced that the House Education and Workforce Committee is “launching an official congressional investigation with the full force of subpoena power” into the three universities, among others.
