Fried Ravioli In Marinara Sauce

It’s not particularly healthy but boy is it good!

About 2 cups oil (this is deep-frying, not sautéing)

2 (1 pound) packages frozen cheese ravioli, defrosted

1 (26 ounce) jar marinara sauce

Heat oil in a large heavy sauce pan over medium-high heat.  Fry the ravioli, about 6 to 8 at a time, until crisp. Try to turn only once but make sure both sides are crisp.  Remove from pan and drain on paper towels.  In the meantime, heat the sauce in a small saucepan.  When all ravioli are cooked, dip them in the warm sauce.  Sigh with pleasure.
