    how much of what we read and hear on the news is just the facts? how much of it is added exaggeration and editors’ bias?

    example: my younger sister cam home from school today and said a big boy hit her. (those were her words).

    the rest of the story: my 5 year old sister said a big boy hit her. a few questions later….. a pre 1 a boy had ‘hit’ her (brushed passed her or bumped into her) while she was out at recess. (co-ed kindergarten and pre1a boys share a building b/c of space constraints)

    see what i mean? its 2 totally dif stories

    Its certainly possible that the New York Slimes has kindergarten aged children making up the stories…but in all seriousness there is always a certain percentage of error and many times they get the story wrong. Usually when it involves scandals or other charged topics like about Jews or Moslems…

    We live in nj. That’s first of all. Second of all, the real story proved te example harmless.
