Aries I see smartness does really run in your family 😀

Always here maybe you’re right about what happened. I dont knw since I wasnt on and didnt read the posts. And I try not to talk about things I have no clue about, it just makes me sound stupid.

But is it really worth it? Why are u giving this random person whom you don’t even know (and dont even seem to like) power over you by caring? True maybe his comments were uncalled for (though again I am not stating that just referencing how you may feel) but think about it, if a 2 year old would call you a dolt would u really care? Or would you not care cuz what a 2 year old thinks of you is not important to your opinion of yourself?

Now I’m not either calling anyone a 2 year old in their behaviors but to quote (chachma bagayim tamim) Eleanor Roosevelt ” Noone can make you feel inferior without your consent”

I heard this on a shuir recently and it was saying how what is our responsibility in this world? Exactly that. Our response ability. How we are able to respond the proper way. We cannot change the OUTCOME of a situation, only Hashem can, but we can change how we COME OUT of it.

I hope noone is getting upset about what I’m posting. I am not trying to give mussar or think that I am any way better than anyone else. It just hurts me to see so many Jews fighting in such a place that can do so much good.

    Find a healthy outlet.

Everyone needs something to let all their life frustrations out..

Do you play an instrument/sing/dance/draw/write? etc etc etc.

Take one of these talents or things you like to do and make it into your outlet, that you can use it to diffuse your anger and frustration.

Also the thing about not having the tools to deal with a huge nisayon, you have to remember that Hashem doesnt give a nisayon to someone who can’t do it. So tell Him “Hashem you gave me this nisayon and You make no mistakes so its obviously ment for me.. Now I need you to give me the tools or at least a mentor or guide to help me get through it. “

APushetaYid I knw how you feel. Its from having a big heart and knowing that even when things look perfect in the outside most people have Tzros of some kind.

I try to do things about it so I feel like I’m making a difference. Like helping out Tomchei Shabbos or something to that affect..

No I’m not calling anyone in particular obsessed.

Hey who knows maybe I’m Joseph?? JK 😀

I was just curious why people spent so much time and energy into someone who obviously wants it.

Oh, I definitely met Joseph many times,

back in the day when his screen name was Joseph and not some other random names, but I posted under a different name then (truthfully I don’t remember what I was even called then; hence the new name).

I just feel like if people are really upset about his views then they should ignore him because he obviously likes the attention and the fireworks that he starts.

And sometimes I think he’s just playing devil’s advocate to see what everyone will say in response.

Ok first of all its only Jewish Music,

Mod – 80 if the windows are open half the sound waves jump outside instead of into my ears so its not so bad. Besides I dont have it blaring but my car is really not sound proof like some other cars and even when the window is closed if it’s on any volume above 4 you can hear it.

If it’s a loud song I try to lower it by red lights but in general its not.

What about fruit on a platter in a nonjewish location, are you allowed to eat the grapes and blueberries (fruit that is not cut) if its on the decorative platter with the rest of the fruit?

I dont know a source, maybe my fellow CRers can help me here, but I’ve heard a few times that a lunar eclipse is a bad sign for the Jews, for the simple reason that we are compared to the moon, and a time when the moon is covered up by the earth, the gashmi is not a good time for Klal Yisroel.

    Anyone else hear this before?

Being that I started the other post that got Pac-man so disturbed, Yes I would vote for a woman. There have been many times in history where women did positive things for the world and for Jews in general.

Especially if the choice was a woman who knew what she was doing and a man who just thought he did.

    Pac-Man I wont argue that she’s a woman.

    That’s pretty clear.

But you cant just say she’s a dolt without backing up your opinion. Otherwise its just your personal opinion and holds no weight with anyone else.

I’ve had this debate with my brother considering we’re both in shidduchim, and it came down to it that while girls are usually more talk a tive, in regards to dating boys talk more for the simple reason that majority of them are in some form of dorm setting. If girls were leaving in a dorm, and not at home forget it we’d totally talk more. Since at this stage most girls are at home, less people know when we’re dating and only the ones we want to knw… while boys since they’re in a dorm, their roommates know, their chavrussas etc etc etc.
