What do the poskim say about playing ball and riding a bike on Shabbos, Sam?
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantSite or app?
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantI give up. I don’t have time to actively look, although I sometimes play my music collection in “shuffle” and could randomly come across it (if I have it).
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantIt can’t because lo adu rosh
Also, yaknehaz.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantWhat are the halachos of Purim that falls out on Rosh Chodesh?
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantSome posters have let out enough info for anyone who knows them, and frequents the CR, to figure out their identity.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantIt seems that the folks at K-9 also know how to use Google.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantLet me know how it is, please.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantMay Hashem send her a yeshuah, and you chizuk.
I would assume that those who know you well know it’s a fabrication.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantIt’s okay for balding men.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantBetter off buying a Chevy for that money.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantNo leather jacket?
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantIt plugs into the USB port, not the audio/microphone in jack.

☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantIt’s what your wife would need to reclaim her handbag if she ever lost it.
☕ DaasYochid ☕Participant“People do not talk about the bad only the good”
Lol. You haven’t been paying attention to the CR.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantPopa, as long as the guy’s even younger, it should’t be a problem. (unless you think divorce is a bad thing)
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantWe also tend to assume that a lawyer is smarter than a sanitation worker, despite the fact that the guy in the smelly overalls could be smarter than the guy in the tie and suit.

That’s interesting, I’m more than 18, and I can’t just do whatever I want.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantNo problem :). I wssn’t the least bit upset, I was just pointing out the link, where it can be seen inside.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantCheck out the Vktech Mini USB Audio Capture Adapter Converter for Music Laptop PCR1BO for a low cost option.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantRD, I provided a link to that Lev Chaim earlier.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantOomis, you should filter out that bully’s emails.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantFor_real, I disagree with everything you wrote, but it would be hypocritical to debate here.
I truly hope and daven that you and the others have a yeshua.
☕ DaasYochid ☕Participant“It would seem that the overparticipating of men in household work has produced more bad than good as far as far as shalom Bayis is concerned. Many men feel that they can cook just as well as their wives sometimes they can cook better and it causes them to look down on their wives and feel superior. This of course leads to serious shalom Bayis issues because the husband doesn’t hold his wife in high esteem.”
No, it leads to shalom bayis issues because of the way the kitchen looks when he’s done.
☕ DaasYochid ☕Participant147, why do some sports teams wear light blue uniforms?
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantZD, this forum is not the place for it. If anonymity’s required, let them send an anonymous email to a kiruv pro. These posters didn’t come with honest questions; they came with false conclusions.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantZahavasdad, teachers are only a small factor in emunah.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantZvei dinim, it’s likely that no moderator had time to read it before the thread was closed. As strongly as I feel that moderation failed in allowing kefirah to be posted, I don’t suspect that they take the side of the kofrim.
☕ DaasYochid ☕Participant☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantWS, THEY learned in a dark frigid cellar.
“Their hearts are filled with emptiness,
Confusion takes its toll…”
Sounds like the onslaught of posters we’ve recently had in the CR.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantI don’t think anyone argues that a particular style or color is required, Charlie.
Most people who wear that style have no idea what it’s called.
☕ DaasYochid ☕Participant“We learned in a dark, frigid cellar…”
You’re joking, right?
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantMy comment was directed at the OP who was speaking from a halachic perspective. From an identification perspective, style and color might indeed be important.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantGoodbye, a-o-m. Stay strong.
Getzel, you are 100% right. This should not be the forum for these discussions and some of the comments sprinkled in otherwise seemingly innocent threads.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantWhat does black have to do with it?
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantThose were the black ones, right?
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantJewishdude, im kein ein l’dovor sof. 🙂
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantIt doesn’t. I was just nitpicking Sam’s nitpick.
November 1, 2013 3:29 pm at 3:29 pm in reply to: Which Red Sox player could pass for a yungerman? #984660☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantEveryone? Everything? Some things are blatant and consistent with other posts.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantZD, one difference is that (usually) the people getting paid to learn like learning, but what you’re talking about is bribing someone to do something he doesn’t want to.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantI respectfully disagree. Listen carefully to where the “d” is.

He says the index finger, though.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantSam, yes, but that’s only a kasha on me if Popa was one of the people the OP insulted by inadvertently leaving out. And as smart as I may be, I’m not a navi. 🙂
I should tell streekgeek: thanks for the compliment. To respond honestly, when I quote specific sources, I usually look them up before quoting.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantIf we take Wolf’s words literally, we have an answer. To quote Wolf, “One of the fundamental tenets of our religion is that God rewards the good done for Him.”
Someone who doesn’t believe in Him certainly didn’t do “good for Him”.
However, the phrase “ein HKB”H mekapeiach s’char kol berya” doesn’t say that it has to be for Him, so maybe Sam’s right that there is s’char.
If that s’char, though, is limited to *this* world, it’s not a contradiction to “ein lo chelek l’olam haba”.
In this case, I suspect that the whole thing is just another attention grabbing ploy. Maybe his s’char will be the attention he gets.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantWolf, I don’t think that applies to those about whom it’s said “ein lo chelek l’olam haba”.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantPBT, I don’t think any of us have claimed to have smicha, or that anybody should rely on us for psak halacha.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantGoogle “2013 Best Cassette to MP3 Converter Comparisons and Reviews”.
If you use high speed, you will lose sound quality. It might be okay for speech, but not for music.
