you can attribute any statement to me that you wish, even if it defies logic (If I am a chareidi, how can I hate myself?)

    Is that argument more like:

“I am a semite, how can I be an anti-semite”, or

“I am jewish, how can I hate jews”?

In either event, the answer here is: because you said you do.

You also said that you dress and act chareidi. You should really just let yourself be who you are, and start dressing and acting MO, and go to an MO shul and get an MO rav. You might find that you hate us less when you don’t feel trapped inside us.

popa- again- do you agree with the statement that israeli soldeirs who died in war to defend the medina and its inhabitants-including chareidim- are “pigul” if they don’t have the right “kavonoh”? such a statememt is normal?

Heh? How is that relevant to whether you hate chareidim?

And again, I have no opinion, because I have no idea what you are referencing.

The statement that you mention coming from me , you took out of its context.

I took nothing out of context. You said it makes people like you hate chareidim.

popa: so, you agree with the statmenet that those Israeli soldiers that died in the wars- protecting chareidim,by the way- is “pigul”?

??? I neither said nor implied that. I have no idea what you are even referring to.

PBA, he never said he hates charedim, he said the charedim are becoming more hateful in his eyes. Big difference.

You mean, that he already hated them, and they’re just becoming more hated. I see.

Note also that he didn’t deny it now–only you denied it for him.

The FDA allows companies not to list ingredients which make up less than 2% of the product.

I do not think this is true. I have read the regulations myself, and they require listing every ingredient.

Of course you don’t assume a normal distribution. You assume a normal distribution only if the people were selected randomly. But why would they select randomly, if there are good bases for selection.

For example, do you assume they randomly selected the good fighters and bad fighters? Why would you assume that? But you don’t have proof to the contrary.

Look, you’re the one who brought a ridiculous argument about current events from a story in the midbar. So you need to live with it.

Popa- Why couldn’t here have been a mixed of “chareidim” and “non-charedim” in the general population as well as a mixed of those two denominations being sent into the army?

Well, my point was that you cannot then prove which people went. So maybe it was all only chilonim.

From every tribe of Israel, you should send to the army.

    So you have a choice.

Either you say there were not only chareidim, in which case obviously the non-chareidim were sent.

Or you can say everyone then was chareidim. Which is what I think. If you concede that, then we’ll discuss the army.

<emSavannah is in Georgia. Isn’t that part of the former Soviet Union?

Yes. But now it’s part of the US. We won it from the former soviet union in the Spanish-American War of the Louisiana Purchase of 1812.

    We always win.

Centipedes are not venomous. But anyway, I was thinking more of a tarantula.

I would get a tarantula, but my wife says if I do, she’s going to let it out of the cage to play with it. And I don’t want it out of the cage.

    I don’t think it’s semantics quite yet.

I mean perhaps I’d hear an argument that we have an achrayus not to let species become extinct. Perhaps. That is certainly not a danger with housecats and dogs.

Sure, I agree we should consider the impact. But if I’m considering the impact, it’s going to be on the species as a whole–not on the individual animals. They don’t have any specific value.

Yes. I meant I don’t hear the achrayus that comes with it to protect individual animals, plants, rocks, or whatever.

I would hear an argument perhaps to not wantonly destroy stuff, and perhaps to not eliminate species. But I just don’t hear that that comes with an achrayus to feed baby squirrels that are displaced by my entirely constructive urban sprawl.

Hmmm. I don’t think our actions create that achrayus. If I take a dog and lock it in a room, I hear I have an achrayus to feed it. But I do not think I have an achrayus to feed every animal that is harmed through multiple steps of causation from my perfectly normal actions.

Actually, the youngest president ever was Barak HUSSEIN Obama, who, according to his real birth certificate was born in Kenya on October 23rd 1979 which means he was also too young to be president, even for his second term.

This is also another proof that his college records–which we have never seen in full–were FAKED and that he never DESERVED to go to Harvard law.

I wasn’t concerned for your neshama. I was just making assumptions about it.

Hashem does not desire current korbanos, that is so. Rambam might suggest that Hashem will not want korbanos in the future, but most assuredly not because Hashem will have changed his mind about the morality of korbanos. Also, that Rambam is not at all the normative opinion, as we say in shmone esrei ???? ?? ?????? ????? ????.

Yes, that is the general interpretation. I see now. You are saying that we are not being nice and practicing bein odom l’chaveiro. I disagree, but I see the relevance of the passuk now.

JF: What are you proving with that passuk? I’m sure you aren’t trying to prove that Hashem does not desire karbanos, since that would be kefirah.
