Please accept my sincere apologies. Side note I think you are very observant to notice that. Or you babysit kids on trampolines too much.

Wow I thought you were joking but I was thinking about Pesach when I took my niece and nephews on the trampoline and we were all jumping clockwise! That’s really funny!

Binyamin is compared to a wolf by Yaakov in the brachos in parshas Vayechi because he just like in a wolf he will attack in the morning and save his booty to divide in the evening. Same is with Binyamin, he had Shaul who killed out most of Amalek and then Mordechai much later who also killed out Amalek.

That is what I learned in 4th grade.

health – you are right about putting into perspective. But I’m sure she isn’t interested in hearing people say “Hashem loves you, yours is on its way, just hold on, there are people in worse situations.”

I don’t know what is the right thing to say.

    Don’t make this about me.

health – I’m sure you feel that way but telling her that is like a slap in the face. she wants to feel validated that what she is feeling is normal. When someone breaks a leg they don’t want to be told hey I broke both legs so be happy.

shidduch – Let me tell you, people tell you to get over it and it’s been so long already you should just grow up. But you formed an emotional bond with the guy so it’s not going to be easy. As much as people say they know how hard it must be….they don’t unless they’ve been in a similar situation. They say that time heals all. I broke my engagement a few months ago. It’s not easy. I still see his face sometimes when I close my eyes and random things remind me of him. It’s definitely not easy. Give yourself time.

WIY – Segula? I was eating it for lunch cuz I found it in my desk. I didn’t know there was a segula for it? Anyway I was taught that the best segula is to do torah and mitzvos.

I am what you call a staff kid of skokie yeshiva. It’s definitely not for everyone. The food is much better than other religious institutions.

Go to http://www.htc.edu there are videos and stuff there to check out.

It wasn’t the fact that he opened the door that made me drop him. I just saw that throughout our date he had no answers and everything he said was “because that’s how everyone does it” I’m sorry if I want to marry someone who thinks for himself.

I went there for 7 years. The first 2 weren’t good cuz many girls from my class were in my bunk and I was looking to get away from them. Otherwise it was amazing. I mean I haven’t been there for some years now but when I was there it was great! But it’s definitely not for everyone. I don’t know you so I can’t say if you should go or not.

I once asked a boy who I was dating why he opened the door for me and his answer was, “That was what I was told to do and that is what everyone does.” So I said oh otherwise you wouldn’t have and said no. I was really shocked. I said so you live your life and do things just because you were told to and because everyone else does it. He couldn’t answer me. I didn’t date him after that.

before I went to sem I asked my LOR if I could wear pink and purple men’s button down shirts because I was having trouble finding tznius ones that were women’s. He said if it buttons the men’s way then no.

In high school this question came up about pajama pants and the Rov said that if they have hearts and flowers on them or if they are pink and girly then girls can wear men’s pants but otherwise no.

This is what I was told.
