The husband’s employer donates thousands to Ohio politicians, including this judge. This judge is corrupt and the mother doesn’t stand a chance!!

The youngest 4 are being raised by the father’s GIRLFRIEND!! The father smeared urine on the face of one of the boys for wanting to do mitzvos!! Where is your rachmanus, people??

Cruz would never lower himself to being Trump’s VP. Trump is antithetical to everything Cruz believes in, as well as everything we believe in as Torah Jews!

Trump is an immoral, amoral, opportunistic, vulgar narcissist.

I’ll still be voting for Cruz in our primary next month.

    Never Trump – Never Clinton!

    Dear Little Froggie,

Thank you for posting your thoughtful response to Takahmamash’s thoughtful post. It was very sweet of you. 🙂

    Dear Takamamash,

I echo Little Froggie’s thanks and condolences. I’m sure your parents are smiling down with nachas at your beautiful middos!

    Dear Git Meshige,

Thank you for thinking of others, even if they didn’t think to thank you themselves. But really, I’m sure your gifts and presence enhanced their simcha! 🙂

Instead of spending weeks or months on a heartfelt creative gift out of love for the recipient, I’ll just get a cheap tchotchke at Amazing Savings since it will be valued as much…

So, seriously. Send a simple thank you note. It would kill you?

Yeshivas and shuls no longer have to waste staff time, money, and trees sending thank you notes to donors…

No more expensive dinners honoring people since they donated thousands *purely* for the mitzvah…

People will donate without expecting their name on an ad in a journal since those are expensive to print…

    *fabulous*

Git Meshige, this actually is working in our favor. If we are expected to be dan l’kaf zechus that they would have said thank you, that means the presumed recipient can be dan l’kaf zechus that we meant to give them the gift in the first place!

Since not writing a thank you note saves money on envelopes and stamps that get thrown away anyhow, just think how much not giving gifts at all will save – no more wasting time and money shopping, wrapping, writing a card, shlepping to the simcha, gas money, tolls, perhaps even airfare and hotel… We can just stay home from the simcha and learn hilchos middos on YWN instead. LOL

P.S. If saying “thank you” has become so passe, then does this mean we don’t have to bentch anymore? Yay!! Moshiach is sure to be just around the corner!!!!!!

This thing about Lakewood is being used to obfuscate the issue of perception. Perception is different than culpability or blame.

Writersoul, you write beautifully for your age (for any age) and I admire your willingness to stick with the issue. Please don’t let your studies suffer for this!

If they don’t make any sense, how can you tell whether if they’re wrong?

Like jewish source said, it does not make a difference if they were right or wrong at this point. Perception is reality. YOF needs to issue a statement making it clear they do not condone the behavior as reported, whether they believe it is being reported accurately or not.

No different than some boys who put on their black hat and jacket every morning. The more important question is, do these kids have good middos, or is it a costume?

in reply to: Jewish Students Off Plane #957655

This is a massive chillul Hashem and the YOF has some major damage control to do for the sake of all Yidden.

Since perception is reality, it doesn’t matter whose fault it was or if the kids were sitting with their hands folded in their laps or if the fight attendants were out of their gourds.

It went straight to the national media and the comments sections are crawling with Jew-hating comments.

Again, IT DOESN’T MATTER if they were being complete angels.

Apologies from YoF board, hanhala, parents, students, janitors, etc. are in order on the same scale as the national press.

Maybe we need to get through the shock and denial first. It’s only been two days since we lost a beautiful couple and only a day since we lost the ray of hope that their baby would survive. We know everything is min Shamayim but it’s heartbreaking to even think about what happened and the pain the family must be feeling.

If you’re missing a letter on your keyboard, for example “b”, just copy a b from the screen and paste wherever you need.

    Copy (control-c) this: b or this: B

    Then paste: bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb

(Reading that last part out loud at the dinner table is also bad manners.)
