Just to clarify, when you say Machpud sometimes you mean non-meat items, correct?

Thanks Lena (It seems like you too opened an account just to help me)

Isn’t Kelo-Cote silicon based gel (unlike Mederma)?

So for the last 30 minutes I have googling and it comes down to two options.

I would like to hear what has worked for others, Mederma (as DaasYochid has mentioned) or Kelo-Cote??

I agree with American-Yerushalmi 100%. I am currently living here and I think maybe American-Yerushalmi didn’t expound it clearly enough!!!

Double, triple even quad triple check what you going into check which schools they will be going to the lifestyle of the neighborhood etc.

There was an interview lately in Hamodia with the Kaliver Rebbi from America about the French Jewry who are making Aliyah hastily and don’t have a clear view what they going into. He says the situation is like the Yemenite Jews who made Aliyah in the 1950’s not knowing what they are getting into and sadly many of them leaving yiddishkeit.

Plan as carefully as you can, maybe consult with some Rov you trust and daven for the best as moving can have major impacts on everyone the children especially.

Personally I think a “behind the counter” person may very well be better for marriage. I know financially it sounds bad, but on the other hand you have a husband. In many professional jobs they have extra late hours, Shabbos they are knocked out tired, nervous or pressured and Sundays to many times they can be busy too.

FYI, I don’t work so you can’t say I am favoring one side.

I know I am reviving an old thread, but I just read the whole thread and liked it so much I decided to add on a funny story.

I have an uncle who I can sit a whole night and tell stories about him and still not finish. Well, he is always has guests over for Yom Tov meals and many times the guests are not frum at all. One Yom Tov in the morning whilst he is still asleep he gets a phone call. He picks up the phone and the guest is on the line asking for directions how to get to his house. My uncle answers in a sleepy voice that he cannot give directions as it is Yom Tov and he cannot talk on the phone!!! (Without realizing he was talking on the phone. Only after he hung up did he realize what he had just done and said)

Why play games on the computer. Go read a book, interact with real live people or play with friends.

The Mishna Berurah states that now women do go to shul even though they are in there Tumah period but they should not look at the Sefer Torah when they pick it up to show the congregation. My question is how these single women (who I can imagine are Tumei) want to dance with it whilst they are Tumei Niddah?

For the above Mishna Berura have a look here: http://www.hebrewbooks.org/pdfpager.aspx?req=49623&st=&pgnum=232

Malbim, if you will listen to the two Yanni songs I mentioned it should be obvious why Mattisyahu isn’t my flavor.

For Jewish music I would go for Avrohom Fried (especially until the Bein Kach U’Bein Kach album) and anything that Abie Rottenberg says let alone sings!

When it comes to non Jewish Musicians nothing beats Yanni. If you would like to know which Yanni songs then it is Acroyali-Standing In Motion and Swept Away from his album and video Live at the Acropolis it is just incredible!!

They can act out most of the Marvelos Middos Machine besides all the time machines and spaceships. Example the in Loshan Hora song they should be able to preform “And who sat on my Shabbos hat” 🙂

I think you mean Chizkiyahu Hamelech. During his time children from Dan till Ber Sheva knew Hilchos Tumah and Taharah (??????? ?? ?”? ???? ?) . Secondly The Medrash Parshas Emor states that in the times of Dovid Hamelech young children knew fourty nine ways in the Haloches of Tumah and Taharah. (???? ???? ???? ??? ?? ???? ?)
