Thousands took part in the motzei shabbos social justice protest in Tel Aviv and a smaller number marched in the capital. Crowd estimates range between 5,000-10,000 people. The unruly group began blocking vehicular routes and defying police.
In Yerushalayim, protestors once again tried to black the light rail’s path as was the case last week, and once again police moved in to prevent this from occurring. As trains stopped protestors banged on doors but the protests in both cities were calmer than last week when protestors in Tel Aviv began smashing windows of banks in Tel Aviv.

“Social justice” is neither.
When secular protesters block vehicles and defy the police they are accused of being “UNRULY”, but when Chareidi protesters block all of the traffic in Kikar Shabbos and on Haniviem street, and when they defy the police, nothing bad or negative is said about their behavior. What is with the double-standard?!
Yoni, what are you talking about? To read the press you’d think that violence is the province of charedim.
