Oh, was that the thing about this thread that most deserved an apology?
I think I saw or heard somewhere that a total tznius/Torah equivalence is a mistake
based on a statement by the Vilna Gaon that women have tznius to counteract their
yetzer hora in the way that men have Torah-study.Recent events may have helped some people understand (I’m not referring only to the hair incident).
