mdd -“Kanoi, and if the Chareidim do not hold of them, they should not insist on living off them!”
This I agree with. Similar to Satmar’s Shitta -you shouldn’t take money for Yeshivos from them.
“Shmoel-Joe, 1. A) An Israeli Chareidi in kollel gets much more money (after counting everything) from the Medinah than a college student; B) A college student is there for 4-6 years, a Chareidi is in kollel for live.”
Since they are protecting the country with their learning they should get a lot more – much more than they get nowadays. And they should get it as long as they are in Kollel, it doesn’t matter if this is life-long -they are still protecting the Country. The more protection the better!
HealthParticipantbenignuman -“We are not allowed to rely on nissim. We have to make hishtadlus to the utmost and rely on HKBH for the rest. If we just sat and learnt and did not have an army we should not be surprised if we were slaughtered.”
Why do you Zionists always twist the truth? Noone said -Not to have an army! They have an army and it’s probably bigger than they need! It could just be made up with Chilonim -they don’t need the Frumme!

Netura Karta Sicko Forces His Boys Into Frum Girls School in Antwerp #928894HealthParticipantlost in Europe -“Health: For an update: Mr.Friedman’s mother entered a request to remove the youngest children from his custody. She reports that she is aware that the children suffer greatly under his care and that the court remove his parental rights.”
I doubt this will work because she isn’t a parent. But I’m all for this if it could work.
“So dear Health, no more need for me to defend myself, case closed!”
You are so “Lost in Europe” your insinuations about me are Not even close to what I believe in. You think I was attacking you and others for attacking this guy Friedman. You didn’t begin to understand the points in my posts. Here they are in a nutshell:
I really hope for the kids sake that they are removed from their parents. Barring this and even if this guy wins this latest court case, I strongly believe the Yeshivos have to accept his kids -boys to boys’ Yeshivos & girls to Bais Yaacov! Your defense that he is dangerous is No excuse! Whatever danger this guy is to the schools -they can find Legal ways to defend themselves. You keep coming up with these petty excuses that I never even disageed on, eg. “He’s the Mafia, etc”. Your community should start having mercy on these Jewish kids and take them into Yeshivos, no matter who the father is!
HealthParticipantyichusdik -“As for national service, some options have been available for a long time, and these have been rejected for a long time.”
They are rejected for the simple reason that they are Not law. The IDF has deals with the Mizrachists that they give them Frum army units and Sherut Leumi. These can be changed at will. Why should we trust them? They want to renege on their deal about sending Yeshiva guys to the army, so why wouldn’t they renege on this -if they felt like it?
HealthParticipantyichusdik -“Health – you and I have gone around and around on this a million times. I’m not going to change your mind, and you won’t change mine.”
The difference is you use every oppurtunity to put down Charedi Judaism. You saw this topic and seized the moment to curse us out with your propaganda. I only came to this topic to defend Charedi Judaism. I don’t look for every oppurtunity to curse out Mizrachists and/or Zionists.
“But I would like to clarify for you that I’ve had opportunity to talk with Politicians from across the spectrum over the years, including Shimon Peres, Bibi, Yitzchak Herzog from Labour, Natan Sharansky when he was an MK and minister with Yisrael B’Aliyah, Yael Dayan from Meretz, Ehud Olmert from Kadima, and many others. At the time I discussed these matters with many of them, they were all open to alternative suggestions, provided the commitment was made for some kind of service, be it in Chareidi units in the IDF, chareidi affiliated Hesder yeshivos, Sherut work in hospitals, schools, and absorbtion centers, etc. The fact that Plesner came back so harshly is at least in large part due to the rejectionist approach of most of the chareidi leadership to even discussing possible alternatives.”
Enough with your double talk and propaganda. You live there so you know better than me how that Gov. works. They have a coalition of MK’s that make up the Gov. This Gov. made a commitee to discuss extending the Tal law. This commitee fell apart -could be in part of this disagreement of whether Charedim can do alternative service or not. As of right now, the Defense minister said since there is no Tal law -he must now draft Charedim.
You can only ask -“What’s wrong with them doing other services for the State instead of Army service?” if there is such a law.
In this case our Gedolim might say Yes or they might say No.
But what you are doing is finding fault with Charedim when such an option doesn’t even exist in Israeli law! I don’t care if you told me every MK in the Knesset would vote for this -I’ll believe it when I see it. Who do you think you’re fooling besides yourself with your posts? All politicians are liars and Israeli ones are also. How many politicians do you know kept all their election/campaign promises? So they all told you that over the years – so what? When they make it into law and the Charedim don’t agree even to that -then you can come here cursing us out. But I’m sure you’d be wrong because we do things because of Daas Torah and IF Daas Torah told us not to do Alternative service -they would have a good reason!
HealthParticipantyichusdik -“I said in a material way. If Israel turned into a failed state with a ruined economy because the government was measuring spiritual credit in figuring out its budget, there would be no more subsidies available for yeshivaleit, draft or no draft.”
You’re right, when Israel fails – only then can they renege on their deals. Until then Torah learners are doing more than gun shooters!
“As far as the law is concerned, over 60 years, governments change, laws change, and facts on the ground change.”
The only thing that has changed is the avg. Israeli citizen who doesn’t believe in Zionism anymore. They just want to live like a Western Goy -so they don’t want to pay taxes that supports some religious Jew. They should move to Uganda. Oh that’s right they all are dying to come here to the US. The only ones that still believe in the Zionist ideals are the MO or Mizrachists. They should serve in the army, not the Charedim.
“I beg to differ. I have had this conversation with MKs and with Israeli political leaders and diplomats personally, and with many secular Israelis who are prepared to tell their elected representatives to pursue these options, and I am also aware of the options for national service currently being used by National Religious young women instead of army, and such work in hospitals, schools, with the aged, with new immigrants, is precisely what they are doing right now. And what a wonderful opportunity for kiruv, too! so sad you ignore it.”
Maybe your Mizrachi politicians said this, but the Defense Minister Barak and the head of the commitee Plesner said this won’t be an option for most Charedim. Stop living in your MO Zionist dream world. Just be happy you can serve in the army acc. to your community – so you don’t have to sit and learn all day which is very hard mentally.

Actually it’s Not a Chesoron of Emunah and Bitachon exactly, because one is required to do Histadlus. But I agree with your gist. This is a problem of Tomim Teyeh because as it is the world doesn’t investigate e/o before marriage to see if they are fertile – so why is this girl different?
January 16, 2013 3:06 am at 3:06 am in reply to: Fertility concerns about a prospective shidduch #920463HealthParticipantArtiste -“All I’m trying to find out is if this issue is likely to be hereditary. Obviously I can ask the shadchan to find this out but I don’t think that that would be a decent thing to do.”
So what is the decent thing to do? Make up scenarios in your mind? If this bothers you, which obviously it does, you have to find out what issues did these woman have. The Shadchan is probably the only one who can find out. If you find out that it’s something genetic that affects fertility, you can research whether the disorder is one dominate gene and one recessive or two recessives causing the disorder. Once you have this info, you’d have to test the father if he is a carrier of this gene that causes this problem. Once you have all of this, then you can plug in all this info into the Mendelian genetics theory.
But since this requires testing on their part – guess what? they will balk. So basically it comes down to either accepting that there might be a higher percentage that this girl is infertile, more than others, or not. In my belief they won’t go through all this just for you to have a definitive answer of what the percentage is. But tell them I’m available, so your son is No great loss.
January 15, 2013 9:03 pm at 9:03 pm in reply to: Fertility concerns about a prospective shidduch #920456HealthParticipantMammele – I wouldn’t even attempt percentages without knowing what the medical prob of the mother is. Maybe her problem isn’t even genetic. That’s why I think this whole topic and speculation is ridiculous.
But just for the fun of it, because I haven’t done Mendelian genetics in a long time. E/o should know this from high school. Let’s say the mother has a genetic defect on her recessive gene -what is the chance to pass it on to her kids?
We will represent the mother with Bb and the defect could just be on the small b or the mother might need two recessive genes for this disorder to affect her and she would be bb and the father Aa, So the combinations that are possible are this if the mother is Bb: AB, Ab, aB & ab. This would be a 50% chance that kid could come down with the infertile problem. If the mother is bb then the combinations are: Ab, Ab, ab, ab. In this situation there is 0% chance that the kid will have any problems. But to know whether this is 100% accurate you’d actually have to test the father whether he has the recessive gene of the mother that carries her medical problem. I assumed he didn’t and therefore classified him as Aa instead of Ab.
Now back to real medicine:
1 year without conception is Infertile.
Rates in the general pop. of women who are infertile:
20 -24 years: 7%
25 -29: 9%
30 -35: 15%
35 -40: 22%
40 -44: 29%
Don’t ask me to combine the bottom with the top, because the top is just fun based on speculation.
HealthParticipantOneOfMany -“Uh…you do know that that’s a medical impossibility, right?”
And you believe if some is good, A Lot is even better, Nymphadora!
HealthParticipantCuriosity -“Unless you have taken a poll that indicates otherwise, this is simply not true.”
You took it out of context to emphasize that I’m Not correct when I used the word “Most”. Maybe I’m not correct to say “most”, or maybe you’re wrong because you didn’t take a poll either, but that wasn’t the point.
The point was e/o’s subjective personal preference can Not determine whether s/o is considered fat. Only objective criteria
like the BMI can determine this.
HealthParticipantMR -“Health, you could not be more wrong. I can’t tell if you are trying to make a joke or not, but you are wrong. Being 10 pounds over weight is not the end of the world, it does not mean that you like an unhealthy life.”
Again, you’re saying I’m wrong based on your own criteria. You decided that you don’t mind 10 pounds overweight, but 60 pounds overweight you abhor. This is your personal preference. Others can have different personal preferences. The fact is if you are overweight – you are fat, whether you personally call this fat by the term chubby or not. (And btw, the latest statistics are being in the category of overweight, not obese, is healthier than being normal weight. See category below. But this is off topic.)
The Gov. bases overweight by people’s BMI (Height together with weight.):
Obesity- 30.0 and Above
January 15, 2013 5:34 pm at 5:34 pm in reply to: Fertility concerns about a prospective shidduch #920452HealthParticipantmomX4 -“Health- I did not say to work up every girl.”
I never said you did. Reread my post. I personally think it would be ridiculous to work e/o up. But I also think it’s ridiculous what the OP is advocating. Why is she treating this girl differently than e/o else? There is no guarantee on anyone that they will be fertile -so why is she jumping on this girl? Because there is a few more percent chance that she might be infertile over s/o else? Such a small % difference and she wants to throw out a good Shidduch – to me this is absurd!
HealthParticipantMR -“There is definitely a difference between “fat” and “chubby”.”
In your mind only. You are differentiating between a little fat and a lot fat. But they both are fat! Most people who care about whether their prospective spouse is fat, don’t want even a little fat. Those that don’t care – don’t care about how fat either, at least to a point.
HealthParticipantMR -“She isn’t “fat” – I would say chubby.”
Who are you kidding? My thesaurus says “Chubby” is a synonym of “Fat”. Why do people say one over the other? Who decided “Fat” is more negative than “Chubby”?
HealthParticipantmedic4092 -“Health- There were no proposals, just to continue. I feel that girls today are “self centered” (my oersonal assesment). They demand you have a relationship (like a father) to their kids from a previous marrage. but refuse your kids.”

Being skinny is Not an obsession, maybe only if you insist on size 2. Concerning yourself about whether s/o can have kids is an obsession. Why? Because until we start a trend like MomX4 did and work-up every girl before marriage – every girl has a possibility of being infertile. So maybe before e/o starts dating -both the guys and gals need to come with pedigrees from their Docs that they are Fertile?!
January 14, 2013 6:59 pm at 6:59 pm in reply to: Fertility concerns about a prospective shidduch #920431HealthParticipantArtiste -“This is really worrying and I’m not sure if to go into the shidduch. What should I do?”
Your question intrigued me from a medical point of view. So I dusted off my Ob/Gyn book and took a look.
This is my answer: I don’t even think that if you asked the Ob/Gyn of these women (if they even have the same one) how much risk it is for this girl to be infertile that he/she could give a definitive answer. The only definitive answer would be a work-up on this girl. The girl would never agree to this.
So what can you do? Well, IMHO, most Frum people live in their own little utopia. They think it’s normal to have 10-15 kids biologically and not normal if you can’t. The reality is at every age there is a certain percentage of women who are infertile. The percentage just increases with age until the golden age. (This is another Pet Peeve of mine. S/o suggested asking their Doc. A lot of people expect their Docs to be Neevim and they get angry when they say “I don’t know”. This in turn pressures the Med practitioner to lie. I obviously don’t agree with this, but it works. The most popular Docs that I’ve seen, esp. in the Frum community, a lot of them have almost never said a true word out of their mouth.)
I never heard of any Rov requiring testing before marriage. So all this hereditary business does is possibly up the percentage a bit. Is this enough not to consider marriage to this person? This is something that you’d have to ask your Rov. I know what I’d answer to this question and probably most people – that in No way can you throw out the Shidduch because of this.
HealthParticipantMR -“The night before he was planning to propose, they were taking a walk and he mentioned very non chalantly that he hopes she plans to lose weight during their marriage. I guess she thought about this all night, and the next day when he asked her she said no!!!”

All kidding aside; the moral of the story is if her weight bothered him – he shouldn’t have gone out on a second date.
Or at least have discussed this issue during the dating process.

“The discussion is about a man who threatens and blackmails Jews. Instead of offering advice how to deal with him, you’re saying that if Jews were honest and paid taxes and didn’t hire illegal workers, the psychopath wouldn’t have a weapon, right?”
Ya’see it would actually help to read My posts before you comment on them. I did say how to deal with him.
“If I owned a store and s/o came in to steal -he would be arrested.” I also said buy weapons for self-defense.
The guy who is “Lost in Europe” said they can’t call the cops because then the cops will get after them. So to this I replied –
“And the shopkeepers that steal from the Gov. – I have no mercy on them.”
So the simple solution is to have the store owners to start keeping the laws -so they can lock this guy up and take away his kids from him! Stop with to survive they can’t pay taxes.
Stealing is stealing – whether it’s this guy Freidman or the store owners.
HealthParticipantmedic4092 -Do you mean you asked them to marry or to continue dating? I haven’t gone out with that many women, but I hope the same thing doesn’t happen to me. I feel the same way as you. I try to be as close as I can to my kids. I think that this is a big + in any future relationship. Perhaps there is another reason, but they aren’t telling you it. Anybody who thinks having relationships is bad, other than with them, doesn’t know the first thing about relationships. You should be happy they rejected you.

Who cares that he doesn’t care? The question is how come the Yeshivos and Bais Yaacovs/Girl schools don’t care about the kids?
All your posts defending the people who have gone against this guy have just reiterated their guilt. By saying he does bad things in no way excuses the “Frum” community from doing bad things!

In your defense of the schools -your posts keep getting weirder.
You say he is unstable and dangerous -so they can’t take his kids into Yeshiva.
This makes No sense to me. First of all, to save Jewish Kids from this man -it’s best to get them away from him. If not possible, at least put them in Yeshiva during the day which is at least part time away. Second, if they really believe he’s a danger – why provoke him by Not allowing his kids in -this will cause him to seek revenge. Also, they should buy weapons for self-defense or if they are scared of guns or they aren’t allowed to own guns in Liberal Europe then they should hire armed guards for the Jewish schools. And don’t tell me they can’t afford to because it’s certainly cheaper than all the legal fees they spent fighting this guy in court.
It appears you keep posting anything you can pick out of your hat.

Your last friend is right. We have had this discussion many times previously here in the CR. OTOH, if your first friend would have just thought to herself -“What’s she complaining about -I had/have it much worse”, without actually saying it, there is nothing wrong with her thinking this.
HealthParticipantanon1m0us -You’d think that with such a long-winded post you might have had a point, but instead of seeing any real argument, all I see is fluff! You remind me of lawyers and Judges that I’ve seen -they write these long-winded briefs and they think that people like me don’t realize they are twisting the truth, time and again. My only consolence about these “psuedo-intelligent” liars is that they one day will answer for their lies in Heaven.
If I can see through their lies, Al Achas Kama V’kama, Hashem can.
The only ones they are fooling are themselves and other fools like them!
It’s Not a contradiction because I believe it’s a lie, even though the possibility exists that one day I might be proven wrong. You’re intelligent enough to know the difference.
“My proof is to show that they found a gene that controls individual behavior, the killing gene, so it is possible to have a homosexual gene.”
Again, yes it is possible, but I don’t believe there is one!
Yes, us Jews believe in Hashem because of Emunah. If there was 100% proof -there would be No Mitzva of Emunah -it’s obvious to all. We’d be like Malachim.
“Lehavdel with homosexual, yes, they do did not identify the gene yet, but the possibility has to exists; as other posters responded; what frum boy would want to ruin his life and live in isolation?? If you think people do this on purpose, you need help.”
There is No such gene as far as I’m concerned! Instead of me going for help -how about the Toeivaniks going for Mental Health help so they won’t need to live in isolation forever? You don’t become Mentally Ill on purpose – I never said that, no matter what you say. I said they should control their Taavos. People are given Yetzer Horas -they don’t pick them on purpose. They need Mental help, not public forums, like YU did!
not say anything about homosexuality.”
Since you haven’t learnt much Torah, you didn’t understand my point. The Meforshim ask why did Hashem wipe out the animals? And the answer is because they became corrupt due to human behavior.
So if you see animals who become attracted to the same gender animal -it’s not because of some inherent gene, like the Lib Liars say, it’s because of the corrupt human behavior that is occuring during this generation that is affecting the animal behavior!
At the time of purchase these clubs were Not so widespead -so they probably didn’t know about the club.

Actually the only ones who have made a Kiddush Hashem is Touro
and YU made a Chillul Hashem with their Toeivnik Forum!
Your post actually cracks me up. Did you ever hear of “Action speaks louder than words” or “Talk is cheap”?
Touro actually tried to close down the club when they found out about it, but was forced to back down after being threated with legal action.
YU never bought any school -they just allowed Toeiva clubs because they claimed the law said so. They should have never allowed it in the first place and waited to see if anybody would go after them legally. They just got up after people condenmed them with a speech. Like I said – Talk is cheap! Touro didn’t talk, they took action until forced to withdraw because of legal action. I really doubt, btw, that anyone would have brought any legal action against YU – if they would never had allowed it in the first place!
HealthParticipantzahavasdad -“I know someone who married such a person and they had to get divorced. It isnt fair to the wife if her husband is that way. A woman wants to be needed , wanted and attracted by her husband. Why should the wife and possibly children be affected by such a person”
You’re right -it isn’t fair to the spouse (it works both ways -I know s/o who had to divorce his wife because she became one of those). The Toeivanik (male or female) should never get married in the first place. They should seek couseling and try to change and if they can’t change -they should stay single forever and Not give into any Taivahs.
Making forums for “Frum” Toeivaniks, like YU did, only increases their desire to act out their fantasies. The best thing for these people and the world is for them to go back “in the closet”!

Here in the US – we can say don’t come to our school – go to the MO school where they allow people to have TV’s in the home. But if there wouldn’t be other Jewish schools, they wouldn’t be allowed to force the kids to Public School, if the parents aren’t going to home-school, because of all the Takanas that we have in our Yeshivos!

I’m sorry, but I must be naive. I believe most people try Not to steal from anyone including the Gov. You’re saying e/o does, esp. schools. I thought schools have learned their lesson from the 70’s and 80’s where some went to jail. If you are privy to info about certain schools that are stealing – you should bring this to the Rabbonim.
And just because “e/o does it” -doesn’t make it Mutter!
And most people who do break laws are B’shogeg, not Maizid, because of their ignorance!
If he’s (Freidman) exposing certain schools who are stealing from Govs. then we owe him Hakoras Hatov for being the “sunshine” that’s disinfecting the schools.
HealthParticipantMatan1 -“Health,
If its not inborn, why would anyone who considers themselves frum decide to be gay? All it does is create a life of misery for them”
That’s a Very Good question!
E/o has Taivahs in this world, but most of us Try to control them!
HealthParticipantMatan1 -“Health, They are QUALITATIVELY on par, not QUANTITATIVELY. I assumed that when i said the level of learning is the same, it was a given that this is excluding a 2nd seder.”
So you assumed that’s what the world would think from your post?!?!?
Or is it possible that s/o would think that everything about YU is the same as any other Yeshiva?
Did you learn this type of logic in YU?
When s/o says something but they mean something else without saying so – the world calls this Deception. I hope you didn’t learn deception from YU.
HealthParticipantanon1m0us -“Health: The same situation that makes Toruo an oiness applies to YU. The problem you have is that you do not differentiate the Yeshiva from College. These are TWO distinct departments, which the Yeshiva cannot control. The rabbonim are against the gay clubs, but are powerless.”
Why are they powerless? Did they try to close them down and e/o including the Gov. came after them?
“Touro is a Maizid since they knew before acquiring other schools what this will entail especially since YU went thought it. You cannot takeover a goyish college and then try to ban their clubs, and they knew that since YU had the same issue.”
How did YU have the same issue?
“The bottom line is, Touro is a maizid since they cannot use the excuse, we did not know. They should have lost money and not acquire any college that cannot be run under Jewish Law.”
Why are you assuming they bought this school?
And even if they did, how do you know that they knew about this club beforehand?
This paragraph is supposed to refute my beliefs? Really?
What does “Killing” genes have to do with Toeiva? You say I’m ignorant in science because I say that there is no such thing as a Toeiva gene, but you failed to produce a Shred of evidence that I’m wrong! I never said that the possibility doesn’t exist. Before the world does things because of genetic defects -they have to prove there is such a gene. I don’t have to prove that there isn’t. So if you want to say there are differences in genetic makeups between adulteres and Toeivaniks – Prove it first!
And the other Liberal Lie that you brought down is because you spent lots of time in college and Not that much in Yeshiva.
In Yeshiva you’d have learned about the Mabul – where animal behavior is based on the generation’s behavior!
HealthParticipanttorah613613torah -“Health, please do not conflate the undergraduate programs which are intended for frum people, with all the other Touro programs which are no different than any other college.”
I don’t know what you’re talking about as I never did that.
As a matter of fact the other programs are different than other colleges.
HealthParticipantI got news for you Mr. Daivd – that no matter what procedure you do – if you don’t change your eating habits the procedure will eventually fail and you will gain “Wight”!

From what I’ve seen this is Normal Cheder behavior.
This doesn’t mean that this is “right” behavior.
It isn’t different anywhere else -so don’t change schools because of this reason.
January 9, 2013 7:45 am at 7:45 am in reply to: How to stop a very, very stubborn case of lice #918475HealthParticipantShraga18 – I’m sure you have tried all the remedies above by now and it still didn’t work. Oh and btw, they have electronic lice zappers that instantly kill lice and electronic combs that make combing much easier.
But if you did everything above and the lice isn’t killed – you need to get a prescription for Lindane (toxic to infants, lactating or pregnant women) or .5% Malathion. The lice is hardly ever resistant to these drugs.
HealthParticipantMatan1 -“Someone who is gay has inborn sexual tendencies which they don’t get to chose. An Adulterer willingly chooses to do so.”
I’ve posted many times before that this is a Liberal Lie. I don’t believe most of them had any inborn deviant tendencies!
HealthParticipantanon1m0us -“shmoel: You continually ignore that Touro has the same clubs and funds them.”
I already responded to this a year ago under the Topic of “Touro or YU?”
“optimusprime” made the same point as you and I’m reposting what I responded then to him:
“optimusprime -“I think its funny how you make a blatant statement like that without considering that Touro College has something very similar. Its called the Touro University Gay-Straight Alliance (you can see more on it on Wikipedia or other websites.) Seems like YU being singled out about this is not exactly fair.”
“Health says – This is from a website that talks about Touro University:
“In September of 2006, Touro University was criticized for revoking the charter of the schools LGBT student group, the Touro University Gay-Straight Alliance.[5][6] Under pressure from the San Francisco Board of Supervisors[7], the Vallejo City Council, the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association[8], and the American Medical Student Association[9] the school quickly reversed its decision and restored the group’s funding.[10]”
Touro is an Oiness for supporting them. YU with their Toeva Forum is a Maizid or the very least a Shogegg. So there is no double standard – one is Ossur and one isn’t!
HealthParticipantMatan1 -“Sure they could do that, but YU doesn’t have a proper 2nd seder. If one wanted to learn in yeshiva full time, why would they send to YU. While it is a yeshiva, its not one that has 3 full sedarim.”
You were finally caught in your own lies. The OP wanted info about Touro and you said why not YU? Maybe the guy wants to learn all day and just go to college at night?
And then you said the learning is on par with Lakewood. How could YU be on par with Lakewood when they don’t even learn most of the day? But with Touro & NIRC in Balto., MD you definitely can learn Torah most of the day and still get a college degree!

If he will become a sideshow that detracts from the education from all the other kids, the yeshiva is correct to keep him and hisbkids away.”
I presume this latest sideshow was due to his kids rejection into the Yeshivas in the first place. If you’re talking about his political views, do you think he’s gonna bring his friend from Iran to the schools for his kid’s Show and Tell?
If you want to defend the Yeshivas – post an argument with some logic!
HealthParticipantMatan1 -“Health,
Its not that its not conducive. Its that its a college. People who are against college will be against YU. There are several rabbeim in YU who do not agree with the college aspect of the institution. That doesnt mean that its not for a ben Torah.
The rabbeim who dont send their kids to YU do so because they dont approve of a college atmosphere.”
More dishonesty. What – it wasn’t possible for these Rebbeyim to send their kids to the Yeshiva part without them having to learn in the college part? You make things up as you go along.
The place is Not conducive to becoming Bnai Torah, no matter how many times you Deny this!
January 8, 2013 10:27 pm at 10:27 pm in reply to: Insanity!! Netura Karta Sicko Forces His Boys Into Frum Girls School in Antwerp #928844HealthParticipantlost in Europe -“The main reason the schools are scared to accept his children is that he is such a sick guy that they are afraid he will mussar them if he finds even the most petty reason to. He will have them tip toeing around him and that is no way to run a school. He did this in NY, where the principal there is still crying about him.”
You seem to be trying to excuse the Yeshivos for their part of this massive Chillul Hashem. The only way someone can Mussar Yeshivos is if the Yeshivos are breaking the law. Otherwise they have nothing to be afraid of. If he was being a nuisance to the Yeshivos -they could just get an order of protection against him.
So either you’re claiming Yeshivos always break the law or they don’t care about the Torah that says Jews have a right to a Jewish education.
