chol hamoed is such a nice way to spend time with the fam, although that can get difficult when there are a huge age differences amongst the children. a great idea is to visit old ppl in nursing homes before going about on your own fun! it teaches the children that they can also share thier simchas yom tov with others..

i have been an in hotel since i was little cuz my grandparents took us every year. the food is great and its nice that the whole family is together. we do have a private seder… but still THERE IS NOTHING LIKE STAYING HOME!!! you can be comf in ur own place without having a fashion show for every meal. there are ppl that have to bring like 27 outfits… i mean how can one CHAS V’SHLOM wear the same outfit twice!?!?! i think that hotels are stupid and my little cousins still complain on chol hamoed in the hotle that they have nothing to do!!! you spend thousansds and its such a waste. instead, i think that everyone should stay home if they can! its the best thing in the world!

lammed hey: that is really sad that a girl would start singing on a date. It should have been ingrained in her that you dont sing in front of men. smart choice that you didnt get engaged cuz the fact that she started singing on a date shows that she regularly is not careful to sing in front of men (and may even imply that she does it oftan). It makes me so upset that ppl are so careless about singing in front of men and make up all these heterim that they could (like if they are in a group… its NOT TRUE!)

comparing a kallah to a woman dressing up on purim is completely ludicrous! i mean its totally and completely against every rule of tznius to parade around with a costume on purim! id be completely EMBARRASSED to even think of dressing up on purim! its cute for the men and children to dress up, but completely inappropriate for adult ladies to get dressed up in a public setting! just thinking about it makes me want to cry. Purim is such a kodosh day and ppl defile it and make it into a day of filth and wrongdoing! instead of dressing up on purim… spend the time davening to hashem..

i know this family personally! this story always brings me to tears as you see that these children showed such compassion to a special child of hashem! Hashem shepped alot of nachas from his kinderlach who sacrificed a ballgame just to make a kid happy and his parents happy!

i hate these married couples in lakewood that go to Ocean Place… a place in Deal where the ENTIRE lakewood goes on dates. im married now, but when i was in shidduchim it made me so upset that there were these couples that OBVIOUSLY went there just to check out the dating hock and seeing who was dating whom. it bothered me that they were just being yentas. dating is NOT the most comf thing in the world and to know that you are being judged and laughed at by couples who have nothing better to do with thier time is quite disturbing and no, i have not gone there since i got married.

On one of my dates, the poor guy ran out of quarters for tolls and didn’t have easy pass… so he had to honk his horn for 10 second by EACH TOLL! and we must have gone through at least 10! it was really really embarrassing!

and it gets better… my friend retold this story on a date… and they both laughed… until my friend’s date ALSO ran out of quarters… and the joke was on hiM!!!

I could not agree with you more. I one time made a huge fool out of myself and others by pretending to be a very sheltered girl and pretend that learning boys are bums. I then apologized after a million ppl commented and yelled at me! I think im the only yeshivaworld.com post zoche to be written in green! anyways, i would be MORTIFIED if anyoen found out who i am!!

Out Of The Mailbag – To YW Editor (Stigmas in Shiduchim) (I was post #9!) so anyways, kudos to yeshivaworld for making sure that my name does not get revealed to others!
