The GRA explains why Yehoshua had to write the commemoration in a sefer. The sefer has no dots. Yoav killed the males because he said that his rebbi taught him the word was zochor amolek and not zecher amolek. so Yehoshua needed to be taught how to read the word.

Rashi brings a mashel on ויבא עמלק, and Amolek came, which we should keep in mind all the time. A father is carrying his son on his shoulders. Someone asks the son, where is your father? He says, I don’t know, so he throws him to the dogs. Hashem carries us on his shoulders by providing al of our needs and we forget, so Hashem threw us to the dogs to Amolek.

smerel, what I bring proof is that someone responsible of people whether a melech or not is judged differently. Trump has violated his oath by endangering peiple that he was responsible for and therefore, he certainly should not serve in that position not now or in the future. You brought a proof from a melech, so I said he is not one.

Trump is not a king as the halochos of morid bemalchus does not apply since he can’t put them to death and even bring tbem to justice. Achashveus gave Vashti over to justice but because of his shcizophrenic nature were afraid to rule.

A leader has different judgements to protect the nation as Shaul Hamelech. It does not have to be a criminal act. Trump was a masis umadiach contributing to deaths and injuries to people for whom he is responsible for.

The holy Berdishever in his sefer Kedushas Levi says that actually the accusatiion of the ruler of the yam saying that we also worshiped a’z turns out to be beneficial to us. Why the mitzryim got into the sea? Didn’t they realize that this was a miracle? It says rama bayam, elevate and then it says yara bayam, thrown. This accusation was transfered to the ruler of mitzraim who gave the mitzryim a feeling of victory, getting into the yam, by elevating them which led to their downfall.

מה תצעק אלי why scream to me דבר אל בני ישראל ויסעו, speak to the Jews to move, asks the Ohr Hachaim Hakadash, why did tefila alone not help here? He answers, that sometimes midas hadin, judgement, rules as they were accused of also worshiping a’z, so they had to show a mesiras nefesh, a sacrifice, to have the midas rachamim, ruling of mercy, overtake by getting into the sea which actually done by Nachshon ben Aminodov, besoch hayom bayabosho, first going to the sea and then dry land but by the Jews was bayabosho besoxh hayom, the dry land was in the sea.
The GRA explains that choma originally was with a ‘vov’ meaning a wall but later it is without a ‘vov’
    cheimo, meaning anger.
The GRA explains that it refers to the pesel of Michal. When the Jews were in the sea, the pesel was still outside in the dry land whereas when the Jews were on the otherside, the pesel went into the sea. They were never in the sea together.

You Retrumpican approve of the insurrection destroying our democracy where the majority accepts President Biden realizing that no fraud occured. Currently, the second amendment should not apply as we are not in the wild, wild west and if it does, we need gun control legistlation not to sell guns to mentally disturbed like you. If the consertive view points lead to murder, it should be silenced.

Always Ask Questions, the difference is that Dasan Vaavirom figured the opposite that the birds will not eat it. However, we figure that they will eat it and reward them for it. Intentions do matter. Doing something for the right intentions is rewarded. מחשבה טובה הקב’ה מצרפה למעשה see Tosfas in Kidushin (39,2) beginning machshava, explains the Meharsha that there is difference between goyim and yidden. By the Jews, a good machshava is counted whereas a bad one is not but by the goyim the opposite is true. A Jew when he has a good machshava will folllow up and do it but a bad one, he will not. However, a goy is the opposite, a bad one he will do but by a good one a machshava is not enough until actually done. The Maharal explains that by a Jew the atzmiyus is good as the reason of the Rambam of forcing a divorce until he agrees because a Jew wants to do the right thing but the yetzer hara resists him, so we force the yetzer hara out.

It recognizes that parnasa is provided by only Hashem, so we are asked to throw our worries on Him as the mon was provided by Hashem, not more or less from what is fated. On erev shabbos there was a double provision. Maybe Tuesday is a double ki tov and Beshalach is the parsha of the mon. This reminds me of the famous mashol of the Dubner Magid. A man was carying a heavy package. He sees someone coming with a horse and wagon. The man invites him to get on the wagon. He looks back to see how the package guy is doing and sees that he is holding the package on his lap. He says, why don’t you lay the package on the wagon? He says to him, I don’t want to burden the horses with my package, so he is told, you are a fool. If you carry it, don’t the horses have to carry it also? The comparison is, if we worry about parnasa, doesn’t Hashem worry about it also?
There is a minhag to put out for shabbos bread crumbs for the birds as they ate up the bread crumbs placed out by Dasan Vaacirom to fool Jews to think that mon fell on shabbos.

We make a bracha yotzer hamoros to ask Hashem that tbe moon should reacquire its original size and new light (having its own light) of creation being equal to the sun as explained by Rashi in Breishis on the pasuk.

We also see from the Korban Pesach and Milah the concept of free choice. The Jews sacrifice the lamb of the horoscope for Nissan, the idol of mitzryim, the mazal, to show that we are above the stars and they don’t predermine our fate. The Sefer Hachinuch says that Milah reflects this idea indicating that we have the ability to change ourselves. The Tzetil Katan by the Noam Elimelech says that our purpose in this world is to change our nature.

The Jews are like the moon. There greatness appears in cycles. Sometimes they are up and sometimex tney are down. The Chasam Sofer says that the moon was willing to make itself smaller that the stars should be seen. The Hafloah says tbat a rebbi should be seen like a malach who is stationary in his edification to show and reveal the greatness of his talmidim in order to learn from him. The Rabbenu Bachaya on the parasha says from the Rabbenu Chananel that the calculation is what we rely on when determining the new moon. Tbe observation must agree with this calculation.
