The Hafloah says that we want to convince someone to do mitzvos, let us do it by emphasizing the positive ובחרת בחיים, choose life, the reward for doing mitzvos and not the punishment. When raising children, emphasize the positive, what they are doing good and how good they are because of it. Praise them when they do good and do not figure that no praise is required because their behavior is normal.

יצחק is 8 x 26 implied with וארא = 208 counting 400 from Yitzchak. The difference between יצחק and ישחק is 210 how long they actually worked in Mitzraim like רדו.

The writing of the oral law was a necessity in order the Torah should not be forgotten. The Rabbenu Bachaya explains at the end of Parashas Ki Siso that Rebbi only wrote down in the mishna what he felt was necessary for their understanding and as the generations came, more elaboration was required. Rav Nossan Adler only put dots on the margin because he had a photographic memory and complete writing was not necessary.

אינו דומה מי ששונה מאה פעמים it is not the same one learning 100 times or 101 times.
אשרי מי שבא ‘לכאן’ ותלמודו בידו lekan is 101. The Sefer Peninim Yekorim mentions that ‘אם אין ‘אני לי adds up to 101.
The daughter of the Chasam Sofer (Hindel married to Rebbi David Tzvi Ehrenfeld, the father of the Chasan Sofer) explained that the Tziporas Hakromim, a bird in the vinyard, says in the Perek Shirah
מאין’ יבא עזרי’ meayin is 101. The gemora says that this bird’s oil by rubbing it on forehead helps for memory but learning 101 times is better because you won’t have to kill it.

Mods: How do you change direction for Hebrew?

Not sure what you mean. I think that depends on how you’re inputting the Hebrew from your phone/computer. It’s not a Coffee Room issue.

There is an argument between the litvacks and chasidim. The litvish interpret עת לעשות לה’ הפרו תורתך when the Torah is weakened, it is a time to accomodate in order to protect it that more should no be let go. Whereas the chasidim interpret the reverse ‘הפרו תרתך עת לעשות לה be strong and steadfast and don’t budge as the cedar above when the Torah is being weakened and don’t let go an inch.

We find that Bnei Yisroel is called rishon and Amolek is called rishon. The Dubner Magid compares this to a doctor and a gibor. Hashem is both a doctor and a gibor. If a gibor wants to denonstrate his strength, he defeats someone being considered strong and a doctor cures someone weak and sickly. Hashem, the gibor, will defeat Amolek and heal and elevate the Bnei Yisroel who are weak and low in galus.

Even when the Jews were sinning at the sudah, Hashem thinks of them and kills their enemies. This was a result of Vashti being so beutiful and the king wanting to show her of. The Ksav Sofer explains that in order to have a competitive beauty contest they all had to dress the same. Vasbti could not wear cloth of a comoner, neither the others her royal cloth, so there was no other optiion than wearing no clothes. She had to appear with only a crown as a punishment for having Jewish girls work for her unclothed on shabbos.

The Dominion would be suing you too for regurgitating old news. They made a mistake in counting which would not make a difference anyway. What does 6000 mean compared to 150,000 a 4% difference?

The Torah says to respect the aged over 70 because of their knowledge through experience. It is improper to call them by their first name done in America as I expect that everyone over 70 should be called. Reb is a designation of respect as they should be called up to the Torah. In Hungary they were greeted by I kiss your hand. A kluger yid is a praise for yourself where it says in Mishlei, yehalelucha zar, vela picha which should be done by others.

Calling myself Reb is a respect that I bestow to anyone of age and knowledge. We learn from experience. One with great rebbies has the right to call himself talmid chacham, talmid mechacham. ubi, above expressed my sentiments about fraud. Rav Shlomo Kluger ztz’l lived up to his name.

The midrash says, ושכנתי בתוכם I will dwell aming them, בתוכו לא נאמר, אלא בתוכם to dwell in the mishkan does not say but to dwell among us. The holy Shlah says that Hashem should dwell in every one’s heart. ושכנתי implies the years that the first and second Beis Hamikdash will stand ושכן תי the first mikdash stood 410 years whereas the second 420 ושני תכ.
