they had loads of applicants and I heard they had a huge intake of girls and most of them took there places… my friend is going there… an awesome sem! right next to keser chaya!

well nachlas has changed since rebbetzin Jackobowitz left. not in a bad way, just different so I don’t really know much about it but want to find out since im also considering to go. BYA is more academic (not much in it) than nachlas. bnos chava is full of japs (snobs)and also academic. Iobviousky haven’t been to these seminaries but this is what I hear over and over again! lahav is a half year sem so don’t know anything about that.
I had my interview. she asks what do u wanna get out of sem in general not necessary her sem
Seminar sounds the type of them your looking for! im applying there bc ive heard that theres a lot of work but not too much stress like nachlas/bya/bnos chava etc.
Our school is doing a favour for rebetzin j and letting her interview the girls in London this week since she came here to speak about the new sem and she is making a simcha soon so it will be hard for her to come later. im wondering if any americans have heard about this new sem???? Anyone who had an interview at BYA or Nachlas when rebbetzin J was there PLEASE lmk ASAP as my interview is at 8.30am tomorrow morn!!! THANK YOU!
ywn10: sorry for not replying sooner, gatestead new is not very yeshivish but rabbi katz is very particular on who he accepts. it offers good courses and the girls who have been there who i know have loved it to the max! its a good frum sem with girls from all over. hatzlacha.
hi does seminar allow ipods, more like ipod touch or an iphone which is used as a ipod and not a phone?

sorry was a bit unclear…they just hang out on the street doing nothing in particular so it really would help if theres a program for them
zahavasdad: they wouldnt want to go to a gym since its not mixed and its most boys and girls who are OTD who hang out and they hang out outside the pizza shop but u wont find any of them inside…they just hang out outside

i think that going out to eat with friends (not an expensive/fancy place) is alot of fun and good spot for socializing an since motzai shabbos goes out early its convenient to do this…

k im also looking into seminar…anyone know much about it? is it hard to get in? is it more hashkafa than text?
theres a place which is very convenient to eat at which is always full of teenagers standing outside, cheering etc at night starting at 7. (they’re not thinking of eating inside or eating full stop) i think its ok if ur a stable girl who goes with friends and keeps to urself since inside its not a hangout only outside…seems like its a good meeting place

ive heard about sems but everyone says different an i really want to try for nachlas but ive heard that its very academic and hard to get into and uve gotta be from a weel known family- is this all true?
have no idea all i know is that it is fairly new-sorry!!
