There is no place like HOME!

Yes. I wash my tzitzis. They DO get dirty. The same way you would wash your shirt after a chassuna, even though you wore a suit jacket a whole time.
By the way, a yarmulka gets really sweaty and needs to be replaced or washed more often than most do, as well. Think about it. You are constantly taking showers to clean yourself, but then put on the same yarmulka you have been sweating in – for months!!

In Eretz Yisroel, the daily “Hamivaser” brought this Inyan from the Sinive Ruv this past Tuesday morning.

I personally know people who canceled swimming that day because of this info.

May we only hear Besuros Tovos!

What about all the people up in the mountains, as well as children in all the summer camps, don’t they deserve to have a Rav on hand?

As an American living in Eretz Yisroel, here are my comments to what you wrote:

As I wrote. An adult passport is valid for 10 years. A childs passport is valid for only 5 years. See form DS-82.

Yes, I was refering to an American in Israel when I commented.

As an American living in Eretz Yisroel, here are my comments to what you wrote:

First of all there is a new policy which requires you to renew it every 5 years not 10 like it used to be so now it’s an extra 80-100 dollars expense every few years for something you don’t use much. Not true. An adult passport is valid for 10 years. A childs passport is valid for only 5 years.

Secondly renting a car in Israel you will have to pay extra taxes If you go in with Israeli passport rather than just as an American tourist which is difficult to do when they see you have an israeli passport as well in their system. Not true. If you live in Israel, you will need an Israeli Driver’s License since you will not be on a turist visa but on a student visa or permanent resident.
You might owe “bituach leumi” in Israel for having an Israeli passport and these mix-ups happen a lot especially if you stay there for extended time. True, but you also have medical insurance, child allowance, and other benefits.
Anyways it’s just much easier to have one passport and maintaining it rather than having another unnecessary one. Why? There are people that have 2 cars or a summer home, and are fine maintaining more than one?

WinnieThePooh: “Each citizen has a gas mask kit just in case, that is updated every few years.”

BTW – The gas masks were all recalled a few years ago. Noone has them any more.

As for the siren system, as you mentioned earlier – they only sound if there is reason to believe that something will land in that area. There are times that Missiles are fires and no siren is sounded because with all the detection there is, they know that it’s not near a populataed area.

We can always escape to Tev Aviv. That’s pretty far from Israel.

You should have written Hagaon Harav Aron Kotler Ztz”l. You are just proving that your whole post is demagoguery.
And yes! Lakewood is one big KIDDUSH HASHEM! your post is the gratest proof to that. Thank you.

As someone living in Eretz Yisroel, both sides are using the children as hostages for their cause.
This is a labor dispute like all Labor disputes that needs someone to help BOTH sides work it out.
The fact that the doctors are using the children to push their side in the media is discussing!
MK Litzman is an honest and ehrlich person, and I’m sure he sees all the sides in this conflict and is doing what he thinks is best for the public.
