Terrorist Who Stabbed Victim In Petach Tikvah Sentenced To 16.5 Years In Prison


prisThe terrorist who stabbed a chareidi man in Petach Tikvah a year ago was sentenced by a district court on Monday, 27 Cheshvan to 16.5 years in prison. He was also ordered to pay compensatory damaged in the amount of NIS 100,000.

The attack occurred near the end of Tishrei 5776 when the attacker stabbed a 25-year-old chareidi man near Beilinson Hospital. The victim sustained moderate wounds.

The terrorist, Tamar Vridat was walking around the sidewalk for a few minutes in wild ecstasy and continued looking for other victims to stab. At some point a number of drivers restrained him until police arrived.

This past Tishrei, the victim, Avi Landau, returned to the spot of the attack together with family members and recited a bracha of thanks to HKBH for saving him.
