dont get so worked up about this pipkin person he/she is probably someone involved in another seminary who took a hit since nby opened because of competition or something. sounds like they have something personal against them so it must be this because anyone involved in Nachlas or that actually went there only has the nicest things to say about them
iyid- good for you that you agreed to continue with him!!! i say the shidduch crisis has alot to do with people turning down dates for the dumbest reasons;)
pba- i agree!! obviously if a kid is acting like that its because he has some sort of issue. maybe he lacks attention at home. why not get to the root of the problem instead of making the kid worse? I heard that there are still yeshivas around where rabaim and principals smack the boys- INSANE!!! I mean how would a rebbi feel if parents came and smacked his children- i think that would make them think twice about smacking someones elses child

I dont get it… to all those that the whole ‘support’ situation is making you nervous marry working boys. If you dont value having a son in law/husband in full time kollel than why are you even looking in that direction?? stop making problems for yourself, there is no reason to get all worked up…

musicaldiginity- it warms my heart to know that there still exists ppl other than I that are really sensitive to the low ‘jewish’ music we have today. and of course you should tell others, if someone sold non kosher meat without anyone realizing u wouldnt be able to publicize it?
its really sad how everyone lost the taste for real hartzig music like carlebach. i luv listening to his songs and when i turn it on other ppl say ‘i cant stand it’ its nebach how they have such a warped taste in music. they wld rather listen to ….. im not announcing here but there are so many famous composers now that their ‘songs’ are just annoying noise
but I just am not finding them. Unless they’re already taken.
you would be suprised to know that some of your friends/relatives husbands were terrible daters but they do make good husbands. and some of the most charming boys are totally not good husbands. you should look past the physical and see if they have nice midos, and do they have the right aspirations?

honolulu- why isnt chochmas lev opening next yr? i was gona suggest it… i thought it was a great seminary, I was so impressed with the girls
I went to touro undergrad- extremely unhelpful to students. they arent hard academically if you have a brain but their class and requirements make no sense and there is noone to speak to that will help you with things unless you have connections. The professors are pathetic besides for 1 or 2 they have no idea how to explain. and be especially aware of the computers department.
the job placements- ha!a joke! they cant even get you internship forget about a job. They are $hungry everytime i needed something i had to pay 30 dollars and they always forgot that i payed- it was never in their system,
but besides for that it was great to have college next to home!!
blabla, why dont you go ask you pricipal? she prob wont have an answer for you… when i was in high school my parents came down to speak to my principal how ridiculous my teacher was being- she was nearly teaching us gemara… and guess what?? she didnt have an answer for them! go figure;) she just said ‘her hands are tied and there is nothing she cld do abt it’!!
To all you fat ppl who are jealous of us skinny girls, i got turned down by a boy for being too skinny;)
if I was forcing my husband to do things I wouldnt choose laundry- thats an easy task (we dont use rivers anymore) I would tell him to do sponga or clean the bathroom.
