Just adding on to this topic, This year I bought a sefira tape that was recommended to me, as i usually don’t buy for sefira cuz if its imitating music then whats the point?
Anyway this one (called kumzits in the rain) is very nice. Its just singing and harmony, no beats or any imitation of music whatsoever, and they are all slow songs that just get you in the sefira mood.
adorable- you can look at it both ways. I actually prefer waxing cuz chick chuck its all gone. But to sit and tweeze one hair at a time its ouch ouch ouch…
And for all those jittery men out there it sounds worse than what it really is! Once you do it consistently its just part of you, and you don’t mind the pain (almost) anymore.

Its weird, before i go im relaxed, but once im in and that rubbery smell hits me i start to get nervous and sweaty!
I wish my weight on Shabbos would get lifted…oh sorry that probably fell under “shtusim”
But there is a concept of not doing exercise on shabbos, I don’t see why lifting weights would be allowed unless it is being done not for exercise.

Bpt- with all due respect i disagree. ppl tend to look at married folks and envy a little their luck. Sometimes its just not the right time for you to get married, its not even a matter of hishtadlus.
Just wanted to pesonally thank bpt for starting this thread. I had read the letter in the hamodia too and put it somewhere in the back of my head, but when i saw it again here it reminded me about it and I did say it (and got other people to say it too).
