@MrSarahLevine613 : You are right only because that’s the impression given, if you go beyond the surface there is a lot more. I have seen a lot of cases of such, and reality is the kids don’t care about Yiddishkeit because they were never taught what it means (& how special it is) to be a Jew. They have qualms about Yiddishkeit & God that never were addressed. once these kids start feeling independent (e.g. I’m my own person & own thinker, I’m an adult), it’s much harder to get them to voice their questions without them feeling that you are trying to “convert” them.

Please Note if you are a parent of such a child please DO NOT try getting your child to voice their questions WITHOUT FIRST speaking to someone who WORKS with such children AND NOT your local Psychologist/ Social Worker! You couldn’t give them an appropriate answer before and it will distance your child farther if you try approaching this taboo topic without getting proper advice!

pixelate, I volenteer by a place which deals with kids from chasidesh/ Haimesh homes who are at risk. I don’t know if you are serious or not, but you should know two things:

    1. You want to prove to him that you love him unconditionally (this does not happen by hitting it actually turns him off).

    2. That when it comes to hitting your son who is a teenager, he will do just the oposite of what you want. Having a heart to heart conversation (with the parents not on their devices) with him may bring out a better results.

What is the mass of you car? That is a major factor. According to netons 3rd law, every thing has opposite and equal force. The reason why you don’t fall through the floor is because of this opposite and equal force or better known as the NORMAL FORCE. To fid your normal force, you multiply your mass*gravity (mg). So that is what you are missing the mass of the car.

Little Froggie, let me tell you a story. I was walking to shachris one morning, as I passed someone I smiled at him and said “Good Morning”, and we both went our merry way. The next morning I saw the same person, he told me that his day began sour and when I told him Good Morning it lasted the entire day and that is how he got through his day. So to all those people who do smile at someone they pass on the street & greet them with a good morning, you may be saving the day for that person, whether they are male or female.
