I’ve heard some really good things about it, I think the girls really like it! A very cute group of girls there! They do have a lot of out of school rules though- like not having a phone, not going certain places on vacation, etc. But it sounds like an amazing school! Good luck!

And why is it fair to the kids if they will be coming into a family with no money. Maybe ask them for their opinion.
Im not really sure, I just know that a lot of people who were abused have ADHD. And my friends therapist told her that she probably wouldn’t have had ADHD (and other things) had she not been abused.
I think ADHD is very common in people who have been abused. I have friends who have ADHD and I have a lot of characteristics of it, but was never evaluated.

Yes well he does a tremendous amount of chessed and helps many people. And people like him, and maybe those are people who would otherwise be listening to english music.
And if you have a problem with him, so be it! There is no reason everyone has to know about it! It is pure lashon hara!

I didn’t notice the elbows not covered; anyone who did must have been looking to hard to find something wrong.
He is a very real person and who are you to criticize what you don’t understand! Just because you don’t like or agree with him it doesn’t give you any licsense to criticize and speak lashon hara about him.
And he has succeeded in making many people happy!

Rabbi Weinberger in 5Towns is also very involved in abuse situations.
I wouldn’t say you should call the police, but I agree you should either speak to a rabbi who has experience with such things or Ohel or Shalom Task Force.

Do you know any people (friends or kids in your school) who also have issues with their parents? Thats one of the only things that keeps me going at this point, the friends that can really understand what I’m going through and just be there for me.
