JosephParticipantICOT –
Nu, so what do you opine about that? 🙂
JosephParticipantTechiyas Hameisim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
JosephParticipantGreat job Moish!!
JosephParticipantICOT –
Just a thought that occured to me (without agreeing or disagreeing with your point), how could you be confident someone didn’t put on a show in order to eventually obtain someone’s contact information? (i.e. hey, lets go running together, or I have a great shidduch… but the ulterior motive being just to get the contact — not for the purported benefit.)

Also see Bemused very good point, subsequent to your comment. Somehow tough, I think bemused is giving the commentor he addressed too much benefit of the doubt.

tal already answered this point of yours, prior to your comment: SJS, I think you may be convincing yourself that Rabbanim respond in matters they feel they are unqualified… Rabbanim don’t speak when they are not certain… and see tal’s entire comment above.)
You said: The rav can tell her she is a Moredes if she does not go to him. Then it is her choice to go or not.
No, its not a matter of choice. If she is a moredes, she is obligated to take corrective action to ensure she is no longer moredes. (If she fails to, there are consequences. But she was still obligated to stop being a moredes.)

JosephParticipantcherrybim, Joseph’s Rav does not say Good Shabbos to every female they pass or meet in the street.
JosephParticipantYU – Pidyun Shvuyim applies even if a Yid broke secular law.
JosephParticipantasdf, it was almost as funny as you living in Ireland and being 26, er 24.

Your “opinion” on a halachic matter is of zero value. There is nothing to be embarrased about. Both notpashut and my own “opinion” on a halachic matter is also worthless.
JosephParticipantwhy would you use hair gel?
JosephParticipantIt is with great sadness that we announce that qwerty has departed the CR, for a better world.
JosephParticipantsqueak – you never replied to the post by Will that you just referenced. Sounds like beating arounf the bush…
THIS is your comment that I referred to that you replied to a non-existent post:

I think my worst one is when a moderator comes on, approves one or two posts and then LEAVES without updating all the threads. I mean, I understand if they’re busy but it’s such a tease!
I agree moish is making a valid point. Clearly the mods can come and go as they please. But I think it would be a very good idea to post comments in the order received — otherwise it becomes very difficult for readers to follow a thread. If an older post is approved after readers already say newer posts on the thread, most people will not realize there are new posts (that are older than some they already read) and miss it — since they recall the last message they read, and don’t look for older messages in the thread – assuming they read all loder messages already.
