The 6 1/2 hours comes from the sacrifice of the tamid which started at 12:30 PM called mincha gedaloh and sacrificed at 9 1/2 hours or 3:30 called called mincha ketana. According to the Rabenu Taam we we can daven mincha until his ben hashmoshos 58 1/2 min after the first shkiah when night starts.

The Rabbenu Taams’s view is that there are two shkios, one the normal sun set and 72 min after that is another shkiah when it is nigth. 13 1/2 min before the second shkiah or 58 1/2 min after the first shkiah is ben hashmoshos. There is the Geonim’s view that 13 1/2 min from the shkiah is night. The yereim’s view is earliest mostly followed Erev Shabbos that 18 min before is ben hashmoshas. Ben Hasahmoshos is 3/4 of a mil which is an argument in its measurement. Some hold 18 min, 22.5 or 24 min. The Geonim and Rabbenu Tam go by 18 min and the Yereim by 24 min. The GRA holds 22.5 min.

They emphasize to daven with proper preparation and clean body. Krias Shma is not related to the brochos as the Rashaba, so you can say krias shma without the brochos before. Mincha is davened until 6 and a half hours from the beginning of the day 6 AM normally around 12:30 and they hold that in the half hour from chatzos to Mincha one can still daven shacharis.

health, what you are saying requires no reply. They would have picked another black candidate for president plus many Republicans appeared in the convention and support Biden.

The GRA uses this to explain the gemora in Shabbos (12,2) where Rav Yishmoel ben Elisha went by mistake and read on shabbos by bending and increasing the candle light saying how great where the words of the chachomim who said not to read at candle light. The mishna does not give the reason of bending because if one knows the reason for the prohibition, he will rationalize as King Solomon, saying, that by me it does not apply. The Baal Akedah interprets the saying, thinking of an aveira is greater than an aveira, because one will try to find reasons for permission.

I think that fhe constitutiion requires some religiion as Voltaire said if tbere was no G-d ch’v then we would have to create one. He recognized that the world cannot exist without G-d.
Proud, the Republicans do not care about the poor. They say, if I give you charity, you will rely on it and let someone else give. They might give for the tax deductiion.

Trump down played the effect of the virus being afraid of the economic affect and did not show leadership to fight it, but he delegated it to the states. Rather than setting certain measurable guidelines to live up to opening the economy, he encouraged the states on their own discretiion as he is doing with the schools. This caused tbe increase of infections and cases causiing more death.

    health, don’t twist Kamala’s words:

    From factcheck.org

    Quick Take
Contrary to claims in viral internet posts, Sen. Kamala Harris did not call former Vice President Joe Biden a “racist” or a “rapist.” Rather, she has been critical of Biden’s position on busing to integrate schools and comments he made about segregationist senators, and she has said that she believed women who accused Biden of making them feel uncomfortable.

There is no website that I know of called factscheck.org

Wearing a hat (not necessarily black) or covering the head with a talis by davenen is a mesoroh as I pointed out from the SA as it says chovash kovah yeshuah berosho. It also says in the Midrash Yalkut Simoni Ki SIso Remez 398, nisatef HKBH kashliach tzibur. We see that HKBH covers His head kavayochel.

The gemora in Bava Basra (10,1) tells the story of Rav Papa who was going up the ladder it slipped and he almost fell. Said Rav Chiyah bar Madifta to Rav Papa that this happened to you maybe because a poor man came to you and you did not help him? Ask the GRA, how did he know that this is the punishment? Answered the GRA that it has the nigunim Dargo Tevir, a broken ladder.
