שומע כעונה does not mean he is speaking on his own because when it comes to the megilla he is missing the sefer and kal rom, but it means he is speaking the others speech like שכינה מדברת מתןך גרונו the readers speech becomes your speech (es shtelt zich tzu) as the reader has a sefer and kol rom so does the listener.

A goyish baby can be converted but he can refuse and regret the conversion when he becomes bar mitzva except if he practices yiddishkeit. If he refuses, the conversion is botel retroactively but I have never heard that the milah gets invalidated on a jewish baby.

Hashem created this world not for his benefit, but for ours. He shares his wealth with all of us wanting that we should do the same. Hilel says אם אין אני לי מי לי if I am not for myself who is כשאני לעצמי מה אני but if I am only for mysellf what am I. The purpose of a man is to work on himself and then on others. If he doesn’t follow this, it would be better if he would never be born because he doesn’t follow the purpose of creation. His existence does not necessarily satisfy the the purpose of creation. The women were created to be a partner to the men satisfying their purpose by their existence. The brocho of the women is not appropriate for the men. The women’s main purpose is to build a family.

To lose a mitzva when you regret it afterwards is if the mitzva is the maasei hamitzva but if the result or tachlis is the mitzva then you still have the mitzva afterwards regardless if you regret it or not.

The Chasam Sofer did not say Shalom Aleichem friday night. He would extend the time of saying slichos in order not to say machnisei rachamim.
This was based on a Mahral in order not to give the impression we are davening to malochim. Malachei rachamim should be said to Hashem that He should command his malochim.

The מלא הרועים on סוגיות מצות צריכות כוונה ס’ק ט says that a mitzva like milah where the result is the mitzva kavonoh does not matter. That is why by tzadakah kavonoh does not matter and he can give it in order that his son should live long, as long as the mitzva is done properly by a Jew.

The Torah starts with a beis. Some say in the Midrash to recognize there are two worlds. For this reason we say lechaim in plural. Maybe this minhag came about צדיקים אפילו במתתן קרואים חיים the pious even when they are dead are still alive, so seeing them in their grave keeps them alive.

We also find that Rachel died on the way that when Nevizradon will exile the Jews they will go to her grave and pray. Rachel will pray for them and she will be answered that you will be rewarded for your actions and your children will be returned to their borders.

If is a rasha lehachis, you will not be convince him just make him worse whichever way, if is doing well, he will say I am being rewarded, so I must be doing something right. and If is doing badly, he will say, G-d does not care about me, or there is ch’v no G-d.

The gemora Berochos 7:1 says that a צדיק גמור a pious person with no sins will be fully rewarded this world and next world, whereas a רשע גמור a wicked person with nothing good will be punished in this world and next world. It you only see the reward and punishment in this world than you might forget about the next world to come. The Ramban in Parshas Acharei says that it matters what your intentions are in doing mitzvos. If you do it for this world’s reward, so will you be rewarded in this world and if you do it for next world’s reward, you will be rewarded in the next world.

How is it צדיק ורע לו a pious person and bad is happening to him, whereas רשע וטוב לו a wicked and good is hapenning to him? If a pious person does some bad, he gets punished on this world for it, whereas the wicked get rewarded in this world. Recognize that the wicked get rewarded for their demise because they think everything is fine and will not repent.

Something from Ben Ish Chai it says ויחן שם ישראל נגד ההר the Jews rested around the mountain. If you take the letters around הר before and after we get before ‘ד’ , ‘ק’ and after ‘ו’, ‘ש’ making together the word ‘קדוש’. unity brings to holiness and then replace ‘ק’, ‘ש’ with two ‘ר’ gives us the word ‘דרור’ indicating that holiness brings to freedom, the redemption.

Something from Rav Yanoson Steiff zt”l zy”a the story abount the convert who wanted to learn the whole Torah on one leg. What were the two legs? בין אדם לחבירו mitzvos that apply among each other and בין אדם למקום mitzvos that apply between us and Hashem. He only wanted to accept the mitzvos that apply among his fellow men which alone is not sufficiient according to Shamai is insufficient. Whereas, Hilel held that includes everything.

Joseph, sorry but I think you don’t know how to learn pshat in this mishna.
Look at Rashi and the Rambam who say that it does not say that you must be poor to learn Torah, but if you are poor, you should also learn Torah. This is like the story with the Levushei Mordechai who was asked if a woman giving birth can anastisize herself because it says you will give birth in pain. He said that it says והיית משוגע does not mean that there is a mitzva to be a meshigener. Some also say that in his beginning of learning years, he should avoid any extra luxuries.
