LeebaW. There are many reasons people turn off, many some are about the community, other cuz their siruation, family, friends, influences make them want to go crazy and they just escape and a small percentage is because they are immotionally ill, but that is ussually because they have someone wanting to murder them or something. I know a 15yr. Old whoose father wants to kill her and she ran away and is at friends but completely OTD, her father wants to do this cuz she told the cops that he was drinking and abusing her family, which was true and he ended up in jail, but now he is out…..so sad.
I think I would be off by now but I have so much emunah and I have a good attitude and try and see Hashems hand in everything…and I do ussually.
Hashem is my Best friend, he is the only person I have left in to confide in, and that is why I hold on and keep fighting every day.

Torah Mom: Seminary is a big choice, but hey, now its her life and she can choose, Im sure, and look Im here!!! Make sure she has some stuff blocked, if you feel the need, but if she dosent find out or see stuff on her own, then she will with someone else who dosent realize she hasnt been exposed to that sort of stuff

Welcome!!! Its harder to see posters who dont post often, I have bad memory and it only permits me to remember the members I see everyday or just stick out but post often. Ussually If I suddenly find someone I suppose they are new…turns out most are a few years old and they just dont post….
We’ll try to put you in, you have to start recognizing the faces here everyday also. Maybe its a good thing you arent fruends with us, dont get me wrong! We all want to make more friends and you seem cute, but most of the people who do have friends here are going through something tough, thats why they come here daily. If we dont see you alot and youre not venting, that should mean that you have a life unlike many of us and that (I hope) nothing major is going on in your life-count youself lucky!

Some people are supwr skinny and eat tonz, and either they have a baby and have no idea to work off fat and its a new conceot to them. Or one day they wake up with half your body on the floor cuz all of it couldnt fit on your bed

Just keep beleiving and find someone to help (Aish, Chabad) they both have websites, so you can look it up. There also are lots of hotlines for pretty much any situation, probobly there is one for people like you where someone can encourage you and start to teach you more. You can try googling it, I dont know much seeing Ive been religous since I was very young and Im only a teen, not very known in these things yet!

Oomis, just in general there have been alot of: why am I still frum types of posts and threads…you need to have really strong emuna to see those…..
Zahavasdad: That too is true…but sometimes the remark from strangers gets in to your subconscious and starts making trouble more than a remark from someone you know….
She is not blaming the CR she is just saying that it was bad for her, maybe her emuna wasnt strong for all I know, but it wasnt a huge problem till she found the CR, and if she did have weak emunah thats great that now she knows and will strethen it…all cuz of the CR.
Still we are not all Rabbi’s and I also agree the emunah talks shoundnt be had with anonymous posters….esspecially since they could be anyone…like a J4J trying to put doubts in our minds…..
