SilentOne: IT IS A PHENOMINAL TEFILLA!!!

May all your tefillot be answered as well as klall yisrael’s!

I have done kiruv work all my life and it is written from the depths of your heart to go into other people’s hearts.

If every person would take notice of just one or two neshamot, we would all be in a better palce. These neshamot all stood with everyone at Har Sinai and said NASEH VE NISHMA!!! Don’t forget your brothers and sisters….give mishaloch manot, invite them for a seudah, invite them for a shabbos meal, smile at them, invite them for a coffee and piece of cake, have them partake, without any questions asked, for a Pesach seder or meal. The rewards are so great!!!!

Silentone: keep up your wonderful writings and prose! It is a gift from H’KBH!!!! Simchas Purim!

To all the dear members and moderators of the wonderful Coffee Room:

EVERYTHING IS HASHAGACHA PRATIS! ME KAAMCHA YISRAEL!

As we all know, the power of Tefilla is phenominal, H’KBH saves each tefilla for a purpose. We each daven for certain things to happen, to help us, for others, for our families, and always Ha-Shem listens to our heartfelt tefillot, and sometimes WE feel they have not been answered as we would have liked. H’KBH saves up our tefillot and every tear shed, in our zechuot sometimes for a later date or time or for a different member of our family down the generation. AIN OD MILVADO!!!!

If you have read another thread Shidduch segula – one I have not seen before, I wrote the story about the Shotzer Rebbe Z’TL and the late Queen Mother of England. I decided to try to help other people (in whatever capacity – zivugim hagunim, refuot, yeshuot, nechamot, zerah shel kaiimah, parnasa etc) to daven at his kever. I asked people to send in by fax, all the names that I should be mispallel I’YH on Shushan Purim, at his kever. I had asked the moderators, as did other members from here, to send on our personal emails to each other. But, alas to no avail, I was forced to give a fax # where my brother in law works. I did not tell him anything and then I mentioned to my husband that I have to get some names in a few faxes. (No one knows what I plan on doing on Shushan Purim morning). Lo and behold, on Motzei Shbbos, I received a personal email from oomis1105 and I was shocked to find out that she was my dear friend from many years ago, whom we have lost contact with, but very often thought about.

I must admit, that being a member of the coffee room, I read most posts but do not always have the time constraints to answer, but one gets a geshmack and feel of the person who is answering and their wisdom. I always looked forward to oomis1105’s answers and her great knowledge of halacha, tenach, common sense, recipes etc. I often thought she went to a great Beis Yaakov and had a good kop, K’H, bli ayin harah. I remembered fondly my conversations with oomis1105 of many years ago, and would think if she was one and the same person. Now, thanks to the coffee room, we have been put back in touch personally!

Wishing all Klall Yisrael a very Simchas Purim, may we all be zocher to an abundance of HAGEFEN, with a double portion of yiras shamayim ve chet, menuchas hanefesh ve guf, osher with aleph and ayin, ahavas chinum, shalom ve shalva le amaynu ve arzaynu, may all the chayalim and shevuiim come home immediately briiem ve shelamim le shalom, refuos, yeshuos, nechamos, zivugim hagunim for all who need them be karov, and zerah shel kaiimah for all who need them be karov, and may all our enemies suffer like we did and more for 5772 years, and last, but not least, may we have the Geulah ve Yeshuah for all Klall Yisrael imminently! Amen Kein Yehe Razon!!!!

The difference between the newer model and the older model is wattage. The older model has 650 watts. The newer model has 1000 watts. The newer model has a stainless steel bowl that has a column, such as a angel food pan. This is good for cakes rather than the larger stainless steel bowl which can take 5lb of flour, + all the other ingreients in one go. It is available to buy online to accomodate the newer model and it fits. My friend bought in London the newer model, and purchased the bigger round stainless bowl online and is so happy with both. She makes great challahs and all cakes with her newer model.

Big Deal: I have the Bosch and it is VERY EASY to clean! I leave the barts to soak for a few minutes and wash it with a stiff dishwashing brush and the dishwashing liquid soap and it is clean. I make the egg whites in the Bosch and it comes out great. Everything is a “mazal zach”. It also depends on how cold the eggs are, i.e. room temperature, if you added sugar straight away or if you let the egg whites to whisk a bit and then add the sugar very SLOWLY, and then lower the speed a bit to incoporate the sugar, and the increase the speed to get it to its maximum.

My friend has a Magic Mill and is always complaining. I am B’H very happy with the Bosch. And, my daughter in law has a Bosch too.

Buy the Bosch. It is the VERY BEST machine to have. I have a Kenwood Major and the best machine ever is the Bosch to make challahs, kokosh, breads, bagels, and the cakes etc.

It is heavy duty and it will B’EH last for many long, good baking years, to do for many simachot I’YH.

Is the one you are think of purchasing a 1000 watt machine or a 850 watt machine? How old is the model? Does the machine come with a stainless steel bowl with a column in it like a angel pan or is the stainless steel bowl flat? I have two bowls. One with the column (like the angel pan), I use for all cakes, but not kokosh or fruit cakes. I have another bowl, a stainless steel bowl for the challahs, breads, bagel, kokosh, rugalach dough, cookie dough, heavy fruit cake mixture or any heavy doughs. If the machine does not have the full stainless steel bowl, it is worth buying one online and I will send the link to you, if you need it. My friend just purchased a Bosch and she is estatic with it. Her sister is now buying one. The Bosch has a plastic cover so the flour does not fly everywhere. The Mill does not have a cover and the flour goes everywherte, and goes at a smaller speed due to the wattage. You can also get an attachment for a shredder/slicer for the Bosch.

It is a phenominal machine worth every single penny!!!!

JaneDoe18: I have been telephoned that your fax arrived, sorry for the mix up when you sent previously, as I had not told them to expect faxes. Will receive them personally later in the day I’YH. I wanted to keep this more tzniusdik, that people should not have to know everything. So sorry. Will post again when I personally have them in my hand.

Blinky and oomis1105: Went to a Bracha party last night and davened for all names given and will continue to daven each day I’YH until I am told there is B’EH good news. I also learn two halachot of the Chofetz Chaim sefer on Shemirat Halashon every single day, in the zechut of all the people I daven for and also try to not speak, listen, write or otherwise during the specified hours, of Machsom Lefi, (Tehillim Perek Lamed Tet), of not to have anything to do with Loshon Harah.

Me Shenichnass Adar Marbim B’Simcha! Today is the birth and the yahrzeit of Moshe Rabbeinu Z’TL and may all our tefillot reach the heights of the Kiseh Rachamim of H’KBH!

I also attend a Bracha party each Rosh Chodesh and once during the middle of the month and all the women answer AMEN out loud and as each bracha represents something. We start off with Mezonot = Parnasa, Hagefen = Zivug Hagun, Haetz = Zerah Shel Kaaimah ( for children), Haadamah = Health (refuot), Shehakol = For Everything Else, Borei Atzei Besamim = Leilui Nishmat for …

Each person then reads out her own list of names of people, after each particular bracha and we all daven for all refuot, yeshuot, nechamot for all for whatever each person needs.

There is Nishmat Kol Chai recited out loud together and also Thank You Hashem (I found copies of this in Hebrew, English, French and Spanish for free in Jerusalem II Pizza shop on Bway between 36th and 37th Street NY) and brought them back to say. In fact, there is a Bracha party to say Amen tonight I’YH for the Yahrzeit of Moshe Rabbeinu. Then there is Hafrashat Challah for the women who want to do it, and bring their own dough. There is usually a guest speaker who speaks for about 10 minutes. It is so wonderful to see how many women come and how many tefillot have been B’H answered affirmatively. May it always be so!

I have written to the moderators twice to give my # or email to whoever needs it or vice versa but to no avail so, I had to give a direct fax #. If you type out or use the word processor and then print it off and fax, it will take less space and be more legible to read. The fax is open day and night. The reason I wrote +44 … is that I don’t know where everyone is living, hence I left out the international direct code on purpose! Please give me your personal email / phone # so that I may contact you direct to tell you when I have davened. Please be in contact when there is I’YH good news be karov!

I promise I’YH (and of course, bli neder), that I shall go to the Shotzer Rebbe Z’TL kever very early Shushan Purim, Friday, 9th March, to be mispallel for all who need anything. The cemetary opens at 7:30 a.m. There are many other great Zadikim buried there and will daven there also I’YH.

I will light 2 candles for the Rebbe’s Z’TL neshama, as per his will, and one candle for each person I am davening for. I use tealights. I then I will take something on myself B’EH, in the zechut that the Rebbe Z’TL will intercede on our behalf, before kiseh rachamim. May all our tefillot always be answered swiftly and affirmatively for the good I’YH.

Syag advice is correct and also Nechomah’s advice.

This is what I do. When you put the fresh yeast in a bowl with a teaspoon of sugar for every ounce used from the full amount of sugar used in recipe, sprinkle some of the flour on top of the yeast mixture, so that it will foam. After I’ve finished kneading the dough, I put the dough in a well greased (with margerine that has been frozen – to use less)very big stainless steel bowl. Put a few drops of canola oil smeared on top of the dough by hand or with a silicone brush – whatever is easier. Cover with saran wrap. Then put in to an 50 degree C preheated oven, on the bottom shelf. After a half hour, knead the dough in the bowl again for a few minutes, then cover again with the saran wrap and then leave in the oven again for another half hour. I then take out of the oven, remove the saran wrap and cover with a clean tea cloth. Preheat the oven to 170 degree C fan. I leave the dough to come back to room temperature covered for about another hour, in the bowl. Take out of bowl on a lighly floured surface. Plait the dough as you wish. (I do 6 strands). Then I place on a silicone baking sheet in a aluminum baking pan (jelly roll pan), egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Place in preheated oven straight away and bake until done.

    Be matzliach!

JaneDoe18: Please send the names as I need to get all the things ready to go I’YH.

When one goes to the Shotzer Rebbe Z’TL Kever beforw chatzot on Friday morning, one has to light 2 candles for his neshama to announce you are there, and then light a candle for every person you are davening for. One must also take something on themselves to do. He wrote in his zevuya (will – and a copy is on the wall next to his kever written in Yiddish and in English, that people have to take something upon themseves to do with yiddishkeit and not be bluffers.) He was nifter in Shevat 1953, and people came from all walks of life to get a bracha from him.

There is a Rav in London who told me the following story, 10 1/2 years ago. In 1950, when he was a young boy in the Yesodei Hatorah school, a levaya took place on Cazenove Rd in Stamford Hill of some great man, he can not remember the person’s name). It was winter and all the children of the school were brought to Cazenove Rd. to pay their respect to the nifter. It was a very big levaya and in Europe the levayas take place in the street. There were hundreds of man and there was a sea of black, the coats, suits and hats etc. A car stopped and waited a bit thinking that the crowd will pass quickly. There was one hesped after the other. The driver was impatient and wanted to ask the people to pass. The passenger was very compassionate after she had realized it was a funeral and said to her driver we must have respect for the deceased and the mourning family. This passenger was none other than the Queen Mother who then was The Queen Elizabeth I, who was in the official car (Rolls Royce) on the way to an official engagement. The Queen did not realize that Jewish funerals have quite a few hespedim and she was considerably delayed. The Shotzer Rebbe Z’TL approached The Queen and made the bracha for the Queen. He then gave his own bracha and benched her that she should have a long and healthy life with all her faculties, to serve her people and kingdom, and thanked her for her compassion in not disrupting the funeral. The bracha materialized, as the Queen Mother lived to be over 101 and was in great health until she passed away in 2002.

There are always many people at the Shotzer Rebbe’s Z’TL kever every single Friday morning davening, beseeching and crying and literally hundreds of candles are lit.

May the Shotzer Rebbe Z’TL be a meilitz yashor for all Klall Yisrael and may all our tefillot be answered le tova. Amen!

We thoroughly enjoyed the simcha B’H and enjoying the next stage in life I’YH – loving and enjoying the einaklach and I’YH great grandchildren in good health! May we all share many simachot with simcha be karov!!!

Yes, JaneDoe 18, and for all others, the night of Purim begins after the 1st leining of the Megillah (after Taaniis Esther). Wait until the local time of your Chazot Halaila and then read your sefer Tehillim. One bakasha for each reading of the Tehillim. You can start a whole group of women together to say the whole sefer, each one seperately, this way you will have company and perhaps not fall asleep!

May H’KBH grant all Klall Yisrael, an abundance of HAGEFEN = Hatzlacha rabbah bechol maasay yedaynu, Gut, Gezunt, Gebenched, Gut Parnassa b’Shefa for all, and much Yiddishe Nachat from all our families I’YH, a double portion of Yirat Shamayim ve Chet, menuchat hanefesh ve guf, refuot, nechamot, and yeshuot for all who need them, zivugim hagunim for all who need them b’karov, and zerah shel kaiimah for all who need them b’karov, ahavas chinum, shalom ve shalva le artzanu ve amaynu, may all the chayalim and shevuiim wherever they are be well and healthy and returned safely le shalom b’karov, and may all our tefillot be answered speedily and le tovah b’karov, and may we see very speedily in our days the complete geulah ve yeshuah for Klall Yisrael and the imminent rebuilding of the Bait Hamikdash b’karov!!!! You can bake cakes/biscuits with potato flour, so therefore, you can make no gebrokt cakes for all year round use. There are some good recipes in the Heimeishe cookbook from Nitra.

Contact the celiac society online and you can find a world of infomation.

Forty women taking hafrashat challah with the couple’s full name and their mother’s names.

Davening at the Shotzer Rebbe Z’TL Kever in London at Enfield Cemetary on a Friday before Chatzot.

I read an article in Hamishpacha, that Rebbetzin Kanievsky A’H, leaving her home on the way to her Mother’s (Rebbetzin Eliyashav’s A’H)levaya, asked someone to call a yungerleit who had no children for many years to do the mitzvah of Shiluach Haken. It is reported that the family had a child after doing this great mitzvah.

Yehudah Tzvi ben Elisheva: Look and read how all of us here in the coffee room care about one another in their time of need. We are all davening for you to have a complete and immediate refuah shelama be karov Amen!

I will take upon myself to say from Perek Kuf Yud Tes from Pasuk NUN (Ner le Ragli), until Kuf Lamed Zayin inclusive.

You are going through a very hard time, but this is a nisayon that you must accept with sever panim yafos. Take each second as it comes. Your body needs to heal and if you are sleeping it should heal I’YH. To become ill, takes a second, to become better takes ages of patience, tefilla, emunah and bitachon. Try to push all negative thoughts out of your mind. Let a good friend come to visit you, let the Rav of your shul visit you, or speak to you on the phone daily. Maybe someone in your community can help your wife by starting a meal rota, so that your wife, who is your main carer, can have some more time for you, herself and the kinderlach.

I have given your name to all in the community and we are doing zechusim, bracha parties are being organized in your zechus for a complete refuah shelama be karov.

May H’KBH grant Yehuda Tzvi ben Elisheva betoch cholei Am Yisrael, a complete and immediate refuah Shelam be karov, refuas hanefesh ve refuas haguf, an abundance of HAGEFEN = hatzlacha rabbah bechol maasei yedaynu, good gezunt, good parnasa be shefa, and much yiddishe nachat, a double of yiras shamayim ve chet, menuchas hanefesh ve guf, osher with aleph and osher with ayin, shalom ve shalva, shefa brachos, may H’KBH give you much siyata dishmaya to accept with ahava all that you have, koach and gevura, and may you be able to be better than before your illness, have many simachos with simcha, may you and all Klall Yisrael be inscribed for a Kesiva ve Chasima Tova, with much need achdus between all the Yidden to bring the Geulah ve Yeshuah immediately Amen Kein Yehe Razon!!!!
