Two parking inspectors were attacked on Motzei Shabbos after issuing a ticket to a motorist for illegally parking his car, the Jerusalem Post reported on Sunday. The two city inspectors were badly beaten by the driver and his friend after refusing to cancel the ticket they had just issued.

Magen David Adom Paramedics transported on of the inspectors to a nearby hospital for treatment.

One attacker, who had fled the scene but was later arrested by police – and a second attacker remains at large.
