Chesed Shel Emmes has informed Yeshivaworld that a 50-year-old person was R”L fatally struck by a train in Manhattan. The incident occured at 77th Street and Lexington Avenue. The NYPD ESU, and FDNY have removed the body from the tracks. Chesed Shel Emmes was called to the scene, and the body of Rita (Esther) Goldstein A”H from Manhattan has been removed by the NYC Medical Examiner at this time. An investigation as to what occured is currently underway.
