☕ DaasYochid ☕Participant
I like randomex’s version better.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantOkay, here goes:
Once upon a time, there were two friends, popa and DY, who liked pizza, so they decided to meet for lunch at a pizza restaurant.
As popa sat down on his infernal coffee room, DY Retardedly (yes, it’s an adverb also) retarded (yes, it’s a verb also) his order to the mod behind the counter.
Suddenly, there was a Retarded (yes, it’s an adjective also) sound. “Blazes!”, said popa, what was that?!
“Um, nothing”, said DY infernally, “but I think I need to go now”, and he exited verbally.
Now, can I ask pizza chef, I mean, the mod, to undelete the outline?
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantHere’s my list. Because I’m a considerate fellow, I numbered them.
1. Two CR posters, same gender
2. type of food
3. adjective
4. noun
5. adverb
6. verb ending in ed
7. occupation
8. adjective
9. exclamation
10. adverb
11. adverb
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantMods, please delete:
Once upon a time, there were two dolts (two CR posters) who were covered in (food type), as a result of an unfortunate incident involving 6 wagons, 3 bands playing od yishomo, 4 women selling shmattos, and a small exploding (food type), no larger than (poster #1)’s big fat head, which in turn is no larger than an ordinary sized (adjective)(noun), but much larger than (poster#2)’s (adverb) (verb ending in ed) (his/her (occupation)’s big fat head which usually evokes (adjective) shouts and screams such as “(Exclamation)!, (poster #1), what was that?!”
“Um, nothing”, said (poster #2) (adverb), “but I think I need to go now”, and (he/she) exited (adverb).
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantOK, I have an idea. I’ll post a story, and ask the mods to delete it, and undelete it after you give your answers.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantFirst call me a cheater, than tell me to make a story? If I’m a cheater, what’s gonna stop me from making up the story afterwards?
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantYou used retarded as an adjective.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantYou’re supposed to make up the story before I provide the words.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantOK, two and and a half huge leaps.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantRight. An unknown source claims that the appearance is based on the appearance of a cat which is a “lucky charm” and you jump to the conclusion that it’s AZ. Huge leap there.
Actually, three huge leaps.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantI just knew you’d find a way to shlug me up. 🙂
Is ??? ??? ???? ??? ????? ??? davka, or does it actually mean ??? ??? ???? ??? ?? ????, in which case, it wouldn’t apply to you unless you were an ??? ??????
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantSam, I’m not mekabel. You’d be assur b’hana’ah, and I wouldn’t be allowed to read and enjoy your posts, and I’m not choshed that you’d be machshil me.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantSam2
☕ DaasYochid ☕Participant29- Whether it was terrorism or a malfunction – it’s a terrible tragedy!
Of course. Do you really think he disagrees? You have to take his statement in context.
His silence about the three boys was indeed inexcusable.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantIt doesn’t seem that way from the Wikipedia article.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantI re-read it. I think 29 is correct.
☕ DaasYochid ☕Participant☕ DaasYochid ☕Participant☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantHaha
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantGive the guy a break, golfer. He’s trying to prove his point to Notasheep.
Thanks for the compliment, though.
☕ DaasYochid ☕Participant???-?? ????? ?? ?????, ???? ????? ?? ????? ????? ?? ??????
??”?
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantApikorsus.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantSam, I am assuming Goq’s hypothetical case to be one in which the issur leaves no room for rationalization.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantShould I counter that story with a story of someone who found a shidduch through a professional shadchan?
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantOh, pretending to be busy again, are you?
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantYou’re right, we didn’t answer the question, we avoided it.
I think the answer is that most people would stop, but some are so addicted that they wouldn’t.
Your next question is probably: since it’s assur anyhow because of sakana, what’s the difference.
The answer is twofold. First, not everyone holds it’s assur, and smokers rationalize based on the opinions which are mattir. Second, we are culturally and emotionally conditioned to avoid tarfus, so it’s less of a nisayon.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantI guess you didn’t like that one. I’ll try one more time, this time, mostly in alphabetical order (you try to find a “V” for compass direction and an “X” for an adverb):

verb ending in ed: yelled
verb ending in ed: zapped

☕ DaasYochid ☕Participant????? ??????
The fact that ???”? isn’t human doesn’t change the equation, since we are told ?? ??? ???? ??? ????, we are bidden to emulate His middos as if they were human middos.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantI don’t know that I’m qualified to define qualified. 🙂
What I mean is, shadchanim with the skills to facilitate shidduchim, while at the same time treating all of the parties respectfully.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantI can’t cut from your post, so I just copied. I hope you don’t mind.

☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantCan you please number them to make it easier?
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantIn my case, more like ???? ?????.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantYes, and thanks again to the mods for allowing that.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantAlways glad to help, golfer.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantI agree that more qualified shadchanim would help the situation.
I think it’s unfair to blame the wealthy.
☕ DaasYochid ☕Participant??????, transilerated into English as gadol-eat.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantNotasheep, it’s the same with every aspect of our society. For some people, the “systems” we have work, for some, they don’t. Whether you view a particular system as working or broken is usually more a product of your personal experience than an objective overview.
☕ DaasYochid ☕Participant????? ???????
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantThose are better, but we need good Aramaic expressions for them.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantStill no answer…
And, still no finals…
But, I must say, Torah613Torah had some great posts on this thread, so I would say she’s the default winner.
I wonder how she did on her finals.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantNah, ahavas maachal doesn’t sound good. “Eim’sa d’taanisa” sounds better.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantHaha.
☕ DaasYochid ☕Participant☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantThere are frum “shidduch events” where you can meet multiple people for a few minutes each or even spend a Shabbos with them.
Boy, that was quick. B”H the shidduch crisis is solved.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantNOWHERE in Charlie’s post to he make any type of insult as implied(correct me if im wrong).
I think Redleg based his assumption on the fact that Charlie used ALL CAPS to make his point, generally considered on the internet to be shouting (look, for instance, how popa refuted Charlie point by point, [civilly, it should be noted] using italics).
I think Charlie just meant to deliniate his words from the words of the one to whom he was responding, though. ALL CAPS is easier than italics. As often as I disagree with Charlie, sometimes passionately, he does indeed write very civilly.
July 15, 2014 9:41 pm at 9:41 pm in reply to: Riddle: Which food has an option of 5 different Brochos? #1094975☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantI think some posters may have misunderstood the question.
As I understood it, the question was which food has a potential of five brachos *rishonos* which would allow it to be eaten.
The answers referring to kiddush, various birchas hamitzvos, shehechiyanu, brachos acharonos, asher yatzar, etc. are interesting, but not what the OP was asking.
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantI think Oomis is probably right. C.I Boy, I would suggest that you ask your therapist directly what she can relate to your parents, and what she will keep confidential.
☕ DaasYochid ☕Participanthaha
☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantRabbiRabin, also nosen taam lifgam, no?
