I have taken many skirts, mine and my daughters to seamstresses ( if you like that better than tailors) to be lengthened. And yes, it is very sad that people who care about stringency in Halacha in other matters are wearing short and/or tight skirts.

The school my girls go to have school on Sunday and they’re off on Fridays officially to help for shabbos. From my part I wouldn’t mind if they’d be in school Friday mornings cause they sleep til noon anyway! And boys have school Sundays and Fridays cause they’re required to learn
