I want the info for keser chaya. I’ve already searched online, but I don’t know if there’s a specific site I’m suppose to search in or something.

They had that idea once before to make Canada the U.S and even Mexico into a continental country… it didn’t happen for a reason.

I’m pretty sure someone already said this but I’m not going to bother looking through ALL the posts. Each animal migrated to where he was able to survive. Why would penguins decide to head over to Australia if it was to hot for them there? obviously they’d head towards a cooler place. Same with any animal. They go towards the right climate in which they could survive and reproduce.

Why are there are no polar bears in Brazil? they should’ve distributed evenly right after Noach landed the arc?

Is basically what you’re asking. Just in case you were wondering how they got there when there’s a huge ocean in the way then I guess Noach would’ve landed the arc when all the continents on Earth were clumped together forming Pangaea.

Or you could put all that aside and go by the opinion of “it was a nes” after all, the animals did all survive in the teivah which definitely didn’t have the correct climate for all of them. But hashem doesn’t do nisim if they aren’t necessary so maybe just that part was a nes.

Hypnosis is a psychological phenomena, it puts a person in a relaxed state of mind which leaves them open to various suggestions which is why they’ll do things you suggest to them. They can also suggest things to themselves. All they need to do is become relaxed and at peace (a bit like meditation), then tell themselves what they’d like to achieve. Not everyone can be hypnotized though, and even those who can be, still may not gain anything from clinical-hypnosis. When someone is hypnotized, they have absolute control of themselves, they wouldn’t do something that they found highly objectionable. In short, hypnosis is nothing more than a state of mind, one in which the individual is highly relaxed and open to helpful suggestions.

    Now you can decide.

Shopping613… I think I can understand. I’m a teen too, excuse my foul mood earlier, I’ve thought about it and I think I can understand you now. I know how tough it can be when something big in your life has occurred, when you’re put under stress or feel depressed… The CR to you is one place that will remain constant. No matter where you go you’ll be able to log onto and return here to be with the same familiar people and personalities that you’ve come to appreciate. You’ve even earned a reputation here. Many ADORE you! some find you annoying, others are indifferent and you know that. You might be quite hurt by this place at the moment, but you like it here. There are always those who won’t quite like you, on the internet AND real life, but there are also always those who will support you, many more than those who dislike you! Just look at all the positive comments you’ve received! Focus JUST on them! If you’re comfortable here don’t let other people chase you away, embrace their negative comments and show those people that they don’t effect you, don’t LET them effect you! We want you to stay… I want you to stay!

    Or how about…

Shopping613, I don’t see why you have to leave! Don’t let those meanies bother you!! We like you the way you are, the coffee room wouldn’t be the same without youuuuuuu! Please stay!! c’mon! Don’t leave just because some annoying people told you that YOUR annoying, SO WHAT! everyone can be alittle annoying sometimes! I love reading your posts, I just dont always respond cuz I don’t know WHAT to say but their always fun to read!! 😀 . Don’t let it getr to you and stay with us!

    or maybe…

I don’t like shopping! let alone A PERSON called shopping!!! (the 613 at the end is a nice touch though) other than that!! I don’t see why u have 2 call be callign all this attention!! like srsly! Go cryu to a friend or your mom or something not to ppl on the internet!! But girl, i kinda feel ya!! but still!! not th e right place to look for to much support! If I knew you personally I’d probably like you even 😀 but i doooon’t!! sooooo yeah… sorry im not good at this stuff, feel beter. 🙂

    And lastly…

Shopping613, A teen is not a toddler (as ObstacleIllusion has hinted), just as the coffee room is not a social network in which you keep people posted about the most simplest of things… you seem to have missed that. Because you are not a toddler, you should be able to deal with whatever is going on in your life and not get others, who you don’t know, involved and also not to seek support from strangers… you’ll never know what to expect and you may be disappointed with the results (as you have hopefully just learned from this experience). I don’t have much more to say to you except that I am quite impressed that you managed to get so many people to run after you begging you not to leave. Even though I am impressed I am also irritated. If you wish to leave, let that be YOUR decisions and not the decision of everyone else.

Choose whichever you wish to believe.

“If i get enough “likes” for me to stay, ill come back, and post- in moderation.” … Don’t expect people to chase after you. I for one do not like to satisfy other people’s egos. You are so obviously calling for attention and love that it’s painful to watch (read). Out of minimal concern/pity I suggest you go find some real friends.

Shopping613, I do not personally hate you, nor do I like you. You are just another one of a bunch of anonymous people passing through the internet, just as I am. Being as that is, people here will generally not care about YOU, or whether or not you’re being “ignored.” They do not have the time to go out of their way to comment on your posts just so that someone across the ocean (for me anyway) won’t feel ignored. If you’d like attention, make some friends that will stick up for you and be there for you. Please try to understand that most people will not try to hurt you purposefully. Some people are just straight forward or awkward about responding to your cries for help. Maybe the problem is with YOU and not everyone else.

Ahead of time, please don’t go telling me to go easy on teens and their feelings because I am teen myself and couldn’t care less.

Actually, something similar happened to my mom. But she came from Canada to Israel and didn’t know any Hebrew. It was easier because lots of people there speak English but she went to a Hebrew class in order to learn Hebrew. She knows Hebrew now but we’re back in Canada. So your mom could go to an English class. And once she’s good enough, she could become a Hebrew teacher for more advanced people.

I never thought about that… I’d go with which ever I’d less regret doing. Would you feel like you’re stealing if you watched it off youtube? Would you feel bad for a long time. OR, would you feel worse if you had to pay for it when you could’ve easily watched it on youtube?

Most likely they don’t pay as much attention because they do it so often. Doing it often means it turns into a habit. When someone has a habit they do it almost instinctively without much thinking involved at all. So they result to thinking of other matters without even noticing, especially when there is MUCH to think about. They may be speaking in front of the king… 3 times a day, every day. They get accustomed.

Spiritually, I think it would be a better place to live for a Jew. They would have the opportunity to live where our ancestors have lived and traveled, and where amazing nisim have occured. Otherwise, it’s just another country with its own government philosophies, and society. One might like it, one might dislike it. So it doesn’t mean the person is against judaism or anything like that if they prefer a different country over Israel. Just sayin’

Invite him to have a bar-b-que with you, get to know him and then bring up the topic of that porch he wanted to make… then tell him how it’ll inconvenience you and make him feel sorry for you. Or just tell him straight out NO! DO IT IN THE BACKYARD!
