    I had the same question,

Why should I vote Republican in a Democratic state,

and now the answer that just came to my head is to show how many votes Obama doesn’t have

It is unimaginable. Only Jews they realize they could probably get away with it. Jews don’t riot or have a Sharpton.

    ever heard of Abe Foxman

in order to correct your post, RELIGIOUS JEWS don’t riot…..

The Christians believe in the Old Testament which is our Torah so they believe that God gave EY to the Jews.

Where did you see that Canaan stole EY from Shem? As fas as I know he was king of Yerushalayim as long as he lived.

if Bereishis was meant for the Christians (which I don’t think it was, I think it was for the nations before Christianity, being that Christianity doesn’t have that tayna on us) then we still don’t need to start with Bereishis because of what I mentioned before

as to where do you see Canaan stole from sheim it’s in next weeks Parsha that when Avraham starts to move to Eretz Canaan (12:6) the passuk says “and Canaan was in the land” and Rashi says “Canaan was capturing it from the descendants of sheim…” I’m not going to quote the whole Rashi look at it yourself, however it seems like it was a davaar yodua

    WIY,

I don’t see a difference between what you’re saying and what I’m saying.

In any event I have a lot of people in the Torah that weren’t tzaddikim or reshaim yet we don’t name kids after them (or better yet they were tzaddikim)

accoording to rashi the reason breishis is in the beginning instead of hachodesh hazeh is so that the goyi cant claim we “stole” eretz yisrael. If that is the reason what do the goyim care what OUR TORAH says and if you say the answer is for us I have a better answer canaan stole it from sheim so we are taking it back

    CRuzer,

I agree with the point that they shouldn’t have tried fitting the song to that, it just doesn’t work.

However your point about of not having an agudah convention about it is wrong. We strongly need achdus among everyone not just sfardim with sfardim and ashkenazim with ashkenazim.

the way the vaad of queens does it is spray it with a strong stream of water after applying veggie soap, wash off the vegie soap and spray again and check water (the broccoli should be upside down)

    alternatively bodek sells frozen broccoli

in addition the baal haturim says over there that the reason is because of “marbeh nashim marbeh kishufim,” therefore it goes to show that the only way you’ll love your wife is through kishuf

sorry I wasn’t clear with all the details to my question. If someone dies Al Kiddush Hashem (Daniel Pearl) he goes straight to Gan Eden however if he gets beaten he still has the rest of his life ahead of him to do bad things and how can he go to Gan Eden. However, maybe this is worse because the person has more pain and constantly has to live with this pain and suffering for the rest of his life?
