It’s a shul that finds any excuse not to say tachnun and they are on my way up to work at an ok time
I was told today is really yom haatzmaut and since it’s erev shabbos it was celebrated yesterday (shul didn’t say tachnun both days)
So people in the NYC area can’t just go without beer until Shavuos?
I wouldn’t be surprised if people in the Midwest couldn’t either
