And how can a shul have a mincha and maariv minyan running simultaneously?

No problem you can when necessary rely on R Yehuda that Maariv can be davened after Plag which is .12499 0f the day for instance today in Zip 11204 is 6:56:10 Gra & Rav 7:53:10 Magen Avraham.

What is problematic is the same person doing both Mincha & Maariv after Plag.

@ TikkunHatzot ?? Whether to include the words ?????? ??

    see ????? ??? ??? ??”? ???? ?”?

I just checked my wife’s kesuba & I don’t see anything in it that would make me want to hang it up for display. It’s a financial commitment and belongs in a secure place just as all important documents.

I was at a Chupa where there were quite a few Roshei Yeshiva present. During the reading of the Kesuba an error was spotted (The leg of the ? in ??????was not filled in). All the great lomdim who said who knows how many hours of shiurim in Kesubos could figure not out how to proceed. Luckily there was a practicing Posek who directed that the ????? should be said & the Kesuba attended to afterwards.

    ?? ????? ???? ???? ????? ????????. ?? ??? ?? ??? ????

He is the one that should be running the show, and should be consulted before hand

At my own wedding our mesader, one of the

senior poskim, came prepared with a printed Kesuba that

he checked. He was not going to proof read on the spot.

newhere wrote I once saw that Rav Shlomo Zalman zt’l held not to say it out loud for the same reason, but i dont remember where, probably somewhere in halichos shlomoh. This would obviously not apply to bentching which is not a silent teffilah. See ?????? ????? ???? ?”? ?????? ???? note #20

    @b18

After 18 hours & 61 posts, are you still waiting for a stranger who doesn’t know you, your parents & the circumstances to give you advice on communicating with your father?

One question from me though. Do you know why you “want” it?

Try writing it out and see if it would make sense to your father.

Meanwhile if you feel the need to do something for Kvod Shabbos or Kvod Tefila, how about a slightly different Yarmulka?

Shela HaKadosh – Good Children Are Not Raised On One Tefila A Year

Yom Kippur Katan Chodesh Sivan is the big day for davening for our children’s hatzlacha according to the Shela HaKadosh. His famous tefila is readily available as are tzedaka opportunities enabling you to boost the effects of your tefilos with a donation. But like everything else that we grab onto for dear life, this is the easy part. The Shela had lots more to say about raising good children other than paying lip service and writing a yearly check and I am sure today’s gedolim would agree. In fact his entire Sefer from which he earned his name the Shela (Shnei Luchos HaBris), was written as a guide to his children when he left home for Eretz Yisroel.

For a few highlights from what he writes in Shaar HaOsiyos, Os Dalet – Derech Eretz…… see http://tinyurl.com/shela-tefila-plus

This milk is commonly referred to as chalav stam.

Can someone quote a Solid Moreh Horoah who used the term Cholov Stam?

IMHO the term is a denigration of R” Moshe ZT”L. It makes it seem as if he ?”? fabricated something which did not exist.
